Paul Zachos is our resident funny guy in the office, but when it comes to his business he is serious about getting the best deal for his clients. Paul Zachos was born in Decatur, GA & graduated from Valdosta State University, and received a BBA Degree in Marketing. In 2000, Paul founded Hillcrest Homebuilders through which he has built over 200 homes ranging in sales price from $300,000 to $1.6 Million. Many of Paul’s custom award-winning homes were built for professional athletes, executives, restaurant owners, pilots, and doctors to name a few. Paul was chosen as one of the nine accomplished custom builders in the 2007 Street of Dreams Home Tour-Atlanta. Paul is a licensed contractor in the State of Georgia and continues to build and remodel residential and commercial projects. His extensive construction experience gives him an advantage in any real estate transaction.

Paul joined Keller Williams in 2010 and earned a spot in the top 20% for the past 6 years of one of the highest producing Keller Williams offices in the south. Paul also assists his colleagues with evaluating and repairing homes based on inspection reports of third parties. This service has helped other realtors with selling homes quickly and at the highest price possible. Paul is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, Prior President of the Westside Homebuilders Association, Co-Founder of Faith in Action (gafaithinaction.com). He serves on the Board of Directors for the Douglas County Chamber, serves on the Board of Directors for Youth Villages, and serves on the Church Leadership Council of the First United Methodist Church. Paul is a past Construction Manager for the Douglas County Disaster Recovery Committee and served on the Board of Directors for the Douglas County Homeless Shelters.

Who do you look up to for inspiration or mentorship?

For ministry, Beau McClain. Robben Mathews (our coach) and many ofthe agents in our office who have succeeded at a high level.

How do you keep your team or yourself motivated despite conflicts and obstacles?

The problem won't go away by ignoring it, so the sooner you confrontit, the sooner you can get a resolution and move through it.Everything in life is a challenge and difficult, but how you handle itmakes the difference. It doesn't matter what your job is, you're goingto be stressed. "Being Comfortable, Being Uncomfortable" iscommonplace in today's world. We have to step back and rememberwhy we are working and be grateful for all of our blessings.Coaching and getting around positive people helps.

What are your current goals?

$18 Million in Sales Volume in 2021, Flip 5 Rehab Projects in 2021, Restructure our business to do what we like to do instead of what we have to do.

What one thing makes you most proud?

My immediate family, which is my wife and my son.

What’s the most important risk you took and why?

Creating my own company as a home builder because I knew that Iwas creating wealth for other people, not just for myself.

How do you continue to grow and develop as a leader?

I didn't really plan to become a leader. As you grow in your business it just comes naturally, and you feel obligated to help others around you grow.

What book can you recommend on leadership?

Rudy Giuliani, Leadership - the book he wrote after 9/11.
