Fresh Looks – See What’s New!

CRAFTSMAN REFRESH

We’ve rolled out some thoughtful updates to our homesand we think our customers are going to love what they see.

From refreshed Craftsman exterior designs and paint schemes to subtle yet impactful interior updates, these enhancements reflect quality and comfort with an updated look and feel that makes everyday living even better.

Behind the Refresh

This project was a true team effort, with collaboration across the Executive Team, Regional VP’s, Regional Construction Managers, Plans, ERP, Marketing, and Purchasing. Customer feedback played a key role, along with input from Sales and Construction teams to help identify and address pain points in the field.

Our Goals

Provide a fresh new look of our exterior designs with updated elements, siding, and fresh new colors

Eliminate outdated interior features

Keep the updates as cost-neutral as possible, ensuring style and value go hand in hand

We’re excited to bring these updates to life and can’t wait for our customers - and our teams - to experience the results firsthand. The first homes should be completed in our Inland Northwest Region in the next 30 days!

Glowing Reviews

We’ve received some incredible feedback from our customers recently and we want to highlight a few team members and their efforts from the past month. WAY TO GO!

“Savannah Galloway deserves the highest praise as a real estate agent. She was an absolute lifesaver for me. As a single mom facing a daunting situation, I felt overwhelmed and lacked the energy to navigate it, but Savannah stepped in and was my champion.

She was incredibly kind and patient, always looking out for my best interests. She didn’t just find me a great deal; she turned a heavy burden into a genuine blessing, giving me so much hope. I’m so grateful for her unwavering support and will be sending all my people her way.”

“Every aspect of the Hayden homes experience has been wonderful, Savannah Griffith, our sales person, very responsive helpful, able to assist with the homebuying process. Paul Tanner the builder on the ground was very knowledgeable about all the processes of the build and explained the construction and function of the home.

Tony Otten very easy to get a hold of after the move in and exceptional in the completion of the homes construction and move in along with the home warranty process for any of the defects found. All of the service provided has been very professional.

I would put this process of new home buying at the top of my list, from all the new homes I’ve closed Lennar, DR Horton, Centex, Brookfield, KB Homes, and many others.

“I had an amazing experience with Hayden Homes! Every question I had was answered super quickly, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful. I absolutely love our new home — the attention to detail is impressive, and it truly feels like it was built with care. One of the biggest stress relievers was that it came fully landscaped—such a huge burden taken off our shoulders!

Overall, I’m beyond happy and would definitely recommend buying a Hayden Home to anyone looking.”

UNREASONABLE HOSPITALITY: The Little Things Count

In homebuilding, the experience matters as much as the home itself. Unreasonable Hospitality means going beyond expectations with thoughtful, personal touches. It’s not about spending more— it’s about caring more. When we anticipate needs and celebrate milestones, we turn the building process into a lasting, meaningful memory that builds trust, loyalty, and pride.

Thoughtful Ways to Practice Unreasonable Hospitality:

Turn jobsite visits into meaningful moments: Leave a handwritten message on the door or create a “memory wall” during the pre-drywall meeting for the family to sign. It transforms a dusty walkthrough into a milestone.

Celebrate their ‘why’: Find out what this home means to them and reflect that story back—whether it’s a playlist waiting on movein day or a small gift that is personal to them.

Anticipate unspoken needs: Offer a cold drink on a hot day or bring some hand warmers on a cold day. The smallest gestures often mean the most.

Equip the team with insight, not just checklists: Knowing their child’s or pet’s name, or their anniversary helps us personalize the experience.

We’re Halfway Through 2O25...

We’re six months in - how are you using your 16 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off? Some teams are already making big moves in their community, but there’s still time for all of us to make an impact. Pick a cause you care about, log your hours in ADP, and let’s finish strong. Let’s level up what we’re doing for others—together!

Leadership in Focus: Dennis Murphy Takes the Stage

Our CEO Dennis Murphy recently joined a powerhouse panel at the John Burns Summit in Laguna Beach, CA, alongside Bert Selva (Shea Homes) and Matt Zaist (The New Home Company). The event brought together 150 top executives from across the housing industry to share insights and strategies for navigating today’s complex market. It was a dynamic conversation focused on resilience, innovation, and what’s next for homebuilding.

Insights from Dennis:

“It was an insightful discussion with thoughtful questions. I was proud to highlight some of the key elements of our business that set us apart, like our Customer Experience and TESA.”

What trends or challenges in the housing industry were top of mind during the discussion?

Land use and approvals came up a lot in the discussion. It’s getting harder everywhere, and everyone’s feeling it. There was also a strong acknowledgment that finished lots are increasingly rare, and land banking has become essential. It reinforced how far ahead we were in adopting this model - we were land banking before it even had a name.

In what ways is our approach similar to or different from what other builders shared?

Our Customer Experience and TESA set us apart, as does offering both community and on your land building. We’re one of the most successful on your land builders in the country, thanks in large part to our unique geography. Our ability to be nimble continues to be a major advantage as well

Any takeaways you want to bring back to the team?

The experience reaffirmed how important it is to share and exchange ideas. I’d love to do more of this—these kinds of conversations help us stay sharp and push the industry forward. It was clear that we’re not just keeping up—we’re helping shape what’s next.

Opening Doors in Post Falls

Simplicity is proud to be the builder behind Miracle on Britton, a new affordable housing development in Post Falls, ID. In partnership with the Panhandle Affordable Housing Alliance (PAHA), we recently celebrated the launch with a community block party where five families received keys to their new homes.

We’re building all 28 homes for essential workers earning 80-120% of the area median income. With 15 already sold, this project is a powerful example of what PAHA’s Executive Director shared, “We’re not just building homes — we’re building hope.”
