What began in July 2005 with zero homebuilding experience turned into a 20-year journey built on trust, growth, and family. From day one, Hayden’s leadership showed up—literally—offering support, guidance, and a promise to invest in his success. Since then, Rich has embraced every opportunity to learn, lead, and live out the values that define our culture. Through changing markets and milestones, one thing has remained constant: his belief in the power of people and the heart of this company. After two decades of giving his all, he’s still paying it forward by encouraging new team members to lean in, speak up, and trust the process. Thank you, Rich, for 20 years and living what it means to be part of the Hayden family.

When Kristi made the move from Maui to Bend, she knew she wanted to be part of a great homebuilding company— and we’re lucky she found Hayden Homes. She’s been leading our HOA efforts with heart and precision ever since. What she values most? The people, the collaboration, and the trust from leadership to do what’s best. Kristi brings a quiet strength and thoughtful presence to her role, and we’re so grateful she’s part of our team.

Thank you, Kristi, for 10 amazing years!

Jakob began his career in the field, where hands-on experience gave him a strong foundation. After moving into the plans department, he built on that knowledge with new CAD skills he gained by going back to school. Driven by a desire to help others, Jakob stays motivated by the daily conversations, problem-solving, and teamwork that move projects forward. His advice to new team members? Stay curious, keep learning, and never hesitate to chase new opportunities—“Sky’s the limit here.” Thank you, Jakob the energy you bring to our team!

Clayton’s 10 years with Hayden Homes highlight his dedication, kindness, and steady support. Known for his IT expertise and patience, he’s become a trusted and valued teammate. Winning the Support Center Fred Award this quarter shows he’s better than ever—keeping things running smoothly with warmth and humor. Thank you, Clayton, for a decade of going above and beyond and making everyone around you feel supported and capable!

Building Connections in Kalispell Montana

Our team hosted a Meet and Greet Happy Hour at Sacred Waters Brewing in Kalispell, MT, welcoming over 80 community members eager to learn more about Hayden Homes. The event was a great opportunity to connect, share stories, and enjoy meaningful conversations. We appreciated the warm reception from the Kalispell Chamber, the Flathead Building Association, and the entire community. We’re excited to grow our presence in this remarkable region!

Housing Innovation in Oregon

Simplicity

Simplicity was proud to sponsor and participate in the Let’s Build Oregon event, hosted by The Missing Middle Housing Fund at Autodesk. The event brought together 19 housing innovation companies and a room full of passionate leaders, all focused on creating more attainable housing across Oregon.

It was an energizing day of collaboration, ideasharing, and partnership-building—the kind of forward motion needed to take on the state’s housing challenges. The momentum here shows what’s possible when innovators, leaders, and communities come together with a shared purpose.

Welcome Home!

We were excited to welcome 167 new Hayden Homes and Simplicity homeowners into their homes in June!

First Story Team Build!

In June, our team came together in Walla Walla for an incredible day of purpose and progress at their regional First Story team build. Side by side with First Story, our team rolled up their sleeves, raised walls, and helped lay the foundation for a brighter future.
