It was great to see so many of our students celebrating their participation in sport here at Roding Valley High School. There were awards for team participation, individual participation and achievements at both school and county level. The cups went to:

To keep up to date with all sports news, please do follow the PE department on Twitter @RodingValleyPE Our KS3 Awards Evening that was scheduled for next Thursday will now take place after half term, so that we can recognise the progress and attainment of students from last year’s Year 7, 8 & 9. For Year 11 parents please do note that their Pre Public Exams (PPEs) start after half term, the full timetable is now available on our website. They should be using their half term to revise - subject areas would have shared revision resources and expectations with students but for additional support you can refer to the ‘How to Help Your Child’ section on our website At Roding Valley High School, we encourage all of our students to find the best revision technique for them. We stand by four main techniques: Buzan mind mapping, Cornell Note Taking, Cue Cards and the use of Seneca (an online app). Our students are encouraged to use these techniques before internal assessments, so that they are equipped with the tools to be successful at GCSE, A-level and beyond.
