After the E. Hoxha regime was taken down in 1989, Albania is still on a transitional period.
For almost 30 years Democracy hasn't been approached properly as it should. Also, most of the human values of Albanian societies have been smashed by counterattacked civil rights through corruption and political abuse of power. Yes, there is a threat, not through weapons but through corruption and oppression upon people who do not take part into political parties. This situation is pushing people away from their land and homes, away fro the country. There is corruption in health care institutions, in education, in administration, and even in justice court. For me and for most of Albanians this is a plague that the Political Class brought since and it's taking over 30 years now.
