About Us
Our vision is to provide a world class Club-Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future.
Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii provides life- changing, and in some cases, life saving programs and support services to over 14,000 youth & teens in 10 communities on Oahu and Kauai. We focus on five essential program areas:
Character & leadership Development
Members are invited to join Torch Club, Leaders in Training, and Youth of the Year.
Education & Career Development
Our skilled staff provide the guidance young people need to graduate on time with a plan for the future.
Health & Life Skills
We provide, fun, engaging fitness activities, and competitive sports, to get kids excited about living a healthy lifestyle.
Sports, Fitness, & Recreation
All year long members can participate in a wide variety of sports, including Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football, and more Arts & Culture Members engage in a wide variety of arts-based activities from music and dance, to visual arts, creative writting, and Aloha Aina.
Considering 83% of Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii youth come from families experiencing financial difficulties, Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii fill a real, and dire, need in our community.
Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii only charges $25 a year for youth memberships, and $10 a year for teen memberships. Even though it costs BGCH $1,600 to serve each child per year, we are committed to keeping cost affordable for our families
