Main Objective At the end of the class the students will be able to manage and order vocabulary related to an oral presentation and to develop it about professions and occupations.

Assessment The teacher will check if the students are participating in the activity by asking them for help randomly.

Engage

The students will be able to identify occupations from the previous class.

The teacher will show a power point PPT presentation with images of professions but presentation without the corresponding name. The teacher will give some clues about the words and also in the crosswords there will be some letters.

10 Minute s

Study

The students will be able to recognize different occupation in which people develop their knowledge. They will understand the importance of each of the activities

In this stage the teacher will show images of PPT different workers doing their jobs. The idea presentation of this stage is that the students will understand what the jobs are related to. The images will be projected through a PPT presentation. They must take notes about the occupations because they will be asked to make a short presentation about this

15 The teacher minutes will check if the students are reading and taking notes about the descriptions.


Activate

The students will be able to describe different professions and / or occupations seen during the class

In this part of the class the students will create a presentation which will include a speaking at the end of the class. They will be assessed by the teacher in both the preparation and also the performance of the activity. They will have plenty of time to develop the activity. They must include short sentences about the profession as if they were describing what people do every day.

65 The teacher minutes will assess the preparation, development and participation of the students through an assessment tool. The teacher will use a checklist which will include the name of the students. The teacher must check the performance of every group , that is why they were given a long time to complete the activity. The teacher will need a lot of time to assess as well.
