K FAMILY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Family of seats with a very versatile design, which makes it ideal for theaters and auditoriums. With a variable width between axes between 520 and 600 mm, it can be adapted to any space, and can be installed with different types of inclination, in straight rows or curved rows. Versatility is defined not only by its variable dimensions, but also by the different shapes of the seat, backrest and side feet, which can be combined to achieve a better aesthetic adaptation to the space in each project. Variable aesthetics depending on the different finishes in each of the elements: upholstered seat and backrest combined with fairings made of plywood board finished in beech veneer, or fully upholstered seats and backrests; fully upholstered side feet, or finished in beech veneer. Lateral feet to the floor, or central foot and lateral sides free-standing. The seat and backrest are manufactured with an inner frame of solid beech wood and high quality interwoven elastic straps, on which is placed a polyurethane foam cushion with a density of 50 kg/m3, fireproof and CFC-free, finished with a textile cover made of fireproof fabric or leather. This technology provides a balanced distribution of body weight and a higher level of comfort to the user

while allowing the separation of each of the components for optimum recycling. Automatic seat return is by means of a double pivot and counterweight system that acts by gravity. Seat return is smooth and silent, thanks to the incorporation of the DSM (Damper Soft Movement) system. The backrest incorporates a lumbar support designed with ergonomic criteria that allows a correct support of the back, and provides the user with a higher level of comfort, while allowing the separation of each of the components for optimal recycling. The backrest can incorporate a mechanism that allows it to fold down on the seat, to limit the use of certain seats per row, in special situations such as those derived from COVID. The backrest folds down 110º, remaining in a horizontal position on the seat. In the versions with seat and backrest fairings, these will be made of 15 mm. plywood board finished with beech veneer and water-based PU V bicomponent varnishes. The side feet are made of high-density water-repellent MDF blocks, finished with beech veneer (FSC certified), and water-based PU V bi-component varnishes, or complete cover made of fireproof fabric or leather.

They incorporate the ball joints that receive the seat, which are fixed by means of pressure pivots, allowing the automatic folding of the seat when the user stands up. The connection of the backrest to the side feet is made by means of a press-fit conical sliding system with end stroke and safety joint, using specific hardware, fastened to the side foot using specific metal inserts for MDF and M6 Allen screws. The lateral panel is fixed to the room floor by means of a plinth made of 4 mm thick steel sheet, finished with electrostatic epoxy powder coating. The connection of the lateral panel to the plinth is made using 2 M6 Allen screws, in a fastening that is made on the inside face, not being visible. The central foot is composed of a bridge and a foot with an anchoring plate to the pavement, it will be manufactured in tube and steel sheet finished with electrostatic epoxy powder coating. It will be the base on which the seat, backrest and lateral panel will be fixed. They incorporate the ball joints that receive the seat, which are fixed by means of pressure pivots, allowing the automatic folding of the seat when the user stands up.

The union of the backrest to the lateral panel of the armchair, will be made by means of a pressure conical sliding fastening system with end stroke and safety joint, using specific hardware, fastened to the lateral side, using specific metal inserts for MDF and M6 Allen screws. The textile covers on each seat, backrest and feet or lateral panels are made by hand by master upholsterers, who adjust them to the shape of each of the 3 elements. The different systems that allow the union and fixation of the different components of the armchair in each and every one of the variants, guarantee its structural stability and facilitate its easy disassembly, in case the maintenance of any of the elements is necessary. The fastening to the pavement will be done using specific screws and plugs for each type of pavement and constructive section of the same. Row numbering system placed on a polyamide plate fixed to the end side of each row. Seat numbering system placed on a polyamide plate fixed to the seat by means of a pressure clip.

ANTIBACTERIAL TREATMENT ON FABRIC The fabric is treated by an antibacterial process with antimicrobial and antiviral properties. An effective treatment in the fight against bacteria, viruses, fungi, mildew and unpleasant odors, ideal for the prevention of contamination and textile degradation. High durability: it maintains its characteristics and effectiveness for more than 100 washes, providing long-lasting hygiene, freshness and added value to the fabric. It can be applied at the fabric manufacturing stage or by nebulization directly on the element coated with it (seats, walls, floors, etc.). It is compatible with flame retardant textiles and can be applied to both synthetic and natural fibers. SAFE, EFFECTIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY Approved by BPR - BPR Regulation (Regulation (EU) 528/2012 on biocidal products), which came into force on September 1, 2013 repealing Directive 98/8/EC, complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and has been dermatologically tested. It eliminates more than 99% of bacteria in its textile elements with optimal durability. It is an environmentally sustainable treatment. The active ingredient used is approved by the U.S. EPA, complies with REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006), does not contain silver or other toxic substances (SVHC), nor substances with environmental impact.

DURABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY The efficacy of the treatment is maintained for more than 100 washes, so there is no need to apply high temperature water or other products to eliminate unwanted microbes. The antimicrobial treatment consistently eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungi, contributing to water and energy savings (less washing, lower temperature and less use of cleaning products). Less need for treatments means longer fabric durability. ACTIVE INGREDIENT Benzalkonium chloride, an organic salt classified as a quaternary ammonium compound, is used. This substance is not harmful, has no environmental impact, has excellent antimicrobial and antiviral activity, and has been used commercially for decades; it is used in consumer products for personal care, shampoos, hand sanitizers, pharmaceuticals such as eye drops, skin, and also in medical-surgical disinfection. It is effective against: BACTERIA ASTM E 2149-13a Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) ISO 20743 :2013 Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) ASTM E 2149-01 Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) ASTM E 2149-01 Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 4352) ASTM E 2149-01 KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIAE (ATCC 4352) Eschericha coli (ATCC 25922) NP EN ISO 20645:2004 Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) NP EN ISO 20645:2004 Klebsiella pneumoniae (ATCC 4352) FUNGI NP EN 14119 :2005 Trichophyton mentagrophytes NP EN 14119 :2005 Trichophyton rubrum (ATCC 28188) VIRUS MHV-2 / MHV-N Murine coronavirus (strain 2) Murine hepatitis virus CCV Canine coronavirus MICROCAPSULES vs PARTICLES Si The treatment is performed using “Si” technology consists of a matrix of silica (Si) particles that carry the active ingredient on their surface and bind it to the substrate, providing durability, high performance and resistance to washing. Unlike the microcapsule system, this innovative system is not affected by temperature, friction, UV exposure or other external factors, making it ideal for the treatment of fabrics for mass use. Efficiency graph up to 120 washes with industrial machinery.
