Lydia Taft House raises funds for People First Food Pantry Over the summer, The Lydia Taft House hosted their second annual Lydia Taft Classic Car show on the lawn at The Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. The goal of the car show was to create a fun time for the community that would also help support a great cause, which in this case was the People First Food Pantry in Uxbridge. Local businesses were also invited to help with the cause. Participation varied. Some businesses sponsored trophies, others helped with donations for the raffle table and others helped out by promoting the event in

their shops. It turned into a town event! The weather was super and they were able to raise $600 to donate to the food pantry. They had 40 cars in all, and their top trophy went to David Larson of Medfield.
