Join the Friends of the Blackstone Library for a free event on Thursday night, January 25th from 6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at the Blackstone Public Library. They will be giving over $100 in raffles, as well as food, drinks and giveaways. Experts will be there teaching and demonstrating their latest advice to help you make 2018 your best year ever! Interior Designer Jenn Collins will be presenting a part of her new program, “Change your Space, Change your Life”. She’ll be teaching you how you can transform any room in your home by letting go of all the things in it that are taking up valuable space and energy. You’ll learn new ways of re-organizing and re-designing, secrets you have never heard before. Pilates and Health Coach Sheryl Corriveau will be giving an excerpt from her talk, “27 Minutes a day Can Change your Whole Life”, to inspire you to start 2018 in a powerful direction. Massage Therapist Nicole Myette will be providing 10 minute chair massage. You will be fully clothed and receiving relaxing or therapeutic massage to relieve any tension in back, neck, shoulders and arms. Registered Yoga Teacher Lori Maher will be teaching you, “How to help Bring your Body into Balance with Acupressure Shiatsu Therapy" She is also the owner and director of State of Grace Yoga and Wellness Center in Uxbridge. Acupressure Shiatsu Therapy is an individualized treatment to help address imbalances (emotional or physical pain or illness) in the body stemming from blockages in the flow of energy. be giving information on the local real estate market, as well as free give aways. An expert will be on hand sharing healthy cooking ideas for the New Year. Hopedale IcePlex to hold Themed Open Skate Nights
FMC Ice Sports will be hosting a weekend long Decade Public Skate event at Blackstone Valley IcePlex in Hopedale. From Friday, January 12th to Sunday, January 14th, come to the rink in your grooviest outfit and celebrate your favorite decades for a chance to win prizes and giveaways. The times for the themed skate are: Sat., January 13th‚ 7:00 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. & Sun., January 14th‚ 3:30 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. General admission is $5 per person and rental skates are available for an additional $5 on a first-come, firstserved basis.
