April Monthly ICACNice Summary
Major Operations and Investigations:
•FBI Joint Operation - International Child Exploitation Case, we assisted in execution of a federal search warrant in Greensboro, NC, targeting leaders of an international child exploitation group promoting CSAM and child self-harm. To assist we deployed K9 Chip during the operation. Due to the severity and international scope of the case, we collaborated with FBI agents from Washington D.C. and New York, . •Search Warrants and Arrests - lnvictus Task Force (ITF), we executed multiple search warrants with ITF in Randolph County (Franklinville and Asheboro) resulting in the arrest of two individuals for child exploitation. and assisted lnvictus with an additional search warrant related to child exploitation later in the month. •Ramseur Child Homicide Case (2022): is preparing for trial, as we assisted in the investigation to the now defunct Ramseur PD, we reviewed digital forensic evidence and coordinated with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) and District Attorney in preparation for trial. •Search Warrant Execution - Winston-Salem (April 10): resulting in one arrest, we deployed K9 Chip and participated in K9 training in Biscoe. I also assisted with business closings and patrol duties later that evening. Casework and Follow-ups: Assisted Siler City
PD in review of a case in support of charges in a separate child homicide investigation. Juvenile Case -Runaway Recovery: Led investigation on a runaway Liberty juvenile case: A multi agency effort resulted in the juvenile being located. Community Engagement & Administrative Duties: Participated in Liberty Chamber of Commerce Luncheon: we co-presented on lnvictus Task Force initiatives and community outreach programs alongside Whitney Cisneros.Training and Qualifications: Attended tactical vehicle assault and vehicle extrication training at RCC with ITF(4 hours). Patrol Support and Vice Activity: Other events of note: Ellington Contracting has several items at the new PD he is working Staffing With Will Summers' retirement, not having filled Kinneys position, the Chief on medical/light duty and Hargrove dividing his time between ICAC and investigations, we remain very short staffed. Siler City, Randleman and Burlington are now fully staffed. They pay approx. $53,000+ plus for cadets/ probationary officers plus incentives. Asheboro is fully staffed and they pay $45,600 PLUS numerous incentives that boost the pay to be competitive with Slier City and Burlington (with likely increases coming this year). Randleman is starting at $53,000/ yr for rookie officers. BLET cadets have no interest in working for approx. $15,000/yr less at Liberty. RCSO is down at least 15 patrol positions and they pay better than we do. There is not an applicant pool deep enough for us to recruit from. Vehicles car 508 (wrecked Caprice) remains inoperable, we continue to seek the parts to repair and sell for significant profit. The seized Fiat will go up for auction in the first week of May, we are prepping it now for sale. Car 647 (Charger) is having overheating problems (again). Car 648 (Charger) had an electrical fault in the power steering system. We have replaced the fuses and hope this will give us some time before we need more repairs. 1. Thou Shalt Put God First A strong marriage begins with a strong foundation in Christ. When God is at the center, love, grace, and wisdom rst the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33 Application: • Pray together regularly. • Worship and grow spiritually as a couple. • Make decisions with biblical principles in mind.
2. Thou Shalt Make Thy Spouse Thy Greatest Human Priority Marriage requires a shift in priorities. Your spouse should take precedence over all other relationships, including parents, children, friends, and work. Key Scripture: “A man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one esh." - Genesis 2:24 Application: • Establish clear boundaries with extended family and work commitments. • Set aside regular time for your spouse. • Consistently af rm your spouse’s importance through words and actions.
3. Thou Shalt Love Unconditionally Biblical love is not based on feeling but on commitment. It mirrors Christ’s love for the church — selfless, sacrificial, and enduring. Key Scripture: “Love is patient, love is kind…” - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Application: • Choose love even when it’s difficult. • Extend grace instead of holding onto resentment. • Demonstrate love through acts of kindness and service.
4. Thou Shalt Communicate Honestly and Kindly Communication is the lifeline of any marriage. Healthy, honest, and respectful conversations build trust and understanding. Key Scripture: “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for building up.” - Ephesians 4:29 Application: • Listen actively before responding. • Speak with kindness, even in disagreements. • Set aside time for regular, meaningful conversations.
5. Thou Shalt Be Quick To Forgive Marriage involves two imperfect people who will make mistakes. Forgiveness is essential for maintaining unity and preventing bitterness. Key Scripture: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” - Ephesians 4:32 Application: • Release grudges and practice grace. • Apologize sincerely and seek reconciliation. • Remember that forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling.
6. Thou Shalt Serve One Another True unity comes from a heart of servanthood. Just as Jesus served others, couples should serve one another selflessly. Key Scripture: “Through love, serve one another.” - Galatians 5:13 Application: • Look for ways to meet your spouse’s needs. • Prioritize their well-being over personal convenience. • Make service a daily habit rather than an occasional gesture.
7. Thou Shalt Protect Thy Marriage Marriages face many threats—temptation, neglect, unhealthy influences. Guarding the relationship requires intentional effort. Key Scripture: “Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” - Proverbs 4:23 Application: • Set healthy boundaries with the opposite sex. • Avoid secrecy and maintain transparency. • Invest time and energy into strengthening your bond.
8. Thou Shalt Cultivate Intimacy Intimacy involves emotional, spiritual, and physical closeness. Neglecting any area can create distance in marriage. Key Scripture: “The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.” - 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 Application: • Engage in non-sexual physical affection (hugs, hand-holding, etc.). • Develop emotional closeness through deep conversations. • Prioritize a healthy sexual relationship within marriage.
9. Thou Shalt Choose Joy and Gratitude A grateful heart transforms how couples view each other. Choosing joy and focusing on the positives strengthens unity. Key Scripture: “Give thanks in all circumstances.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Application: • Regularly express appreciation for your spouse. • Focus on what is good rather than dwelling on shortcomings. • Find joy in small moments and shared experiences.
10. Thou Shalt Never Stop Growing Together Marriage is a journey, not a destination. Couples must continue learning, adapting, and growing together. Key Scripture: “Two are better than one.” - Ecclesiastes 4:9 Application: • Read books or attend marriage seminars together. • Set shared goals for spiritual, personal, and relational growth. • Regularly assess the health of your marriage and make adjustments as needed.

Although the workday at the Way-station started with overcast skies, our ladies quickly got to work and we finished planting all the new plants around the greenhouse structure and the new bed along the house. Our appreciation goes out to the 11 members who contributed their time. Furthermore, the mulch delivery arrived a day earlier than expected, allowing us to spread it around our new ower beds. More news and updates about the Way-station will be revealed in the next few weeks.

National Day of Prayer - Service at
Asheboro, NC – In a continued effort to enhance community resilience and response capabilities, Randolph County Emergency Services, with the collaboration between Special Forces candidates and local agencies, participated in a crisis tabletop activity training held on April 30th at Randolph County Emergency Services. The training program brings together the students training to become Special Forces, renowned for their expertise in crisis management and unconventional warfare, with representatives from Randolph County Emergency Services, North Carolina Emergency Management, Randolph County Department of Social Services, Asheboro Police Department, Asheboro Fire and Rescue, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, and Randolph County Public Health. This unique partnership seeks to leverage the diverse skill sets and experiences of both parties to bolster preparedness for a wide array of crisis scenarios.
Capt. Evan Grady, Emergency Management Planner of Randolph County Emergency Services stated, “When planning for and managing emergencies, Randolph County Emergency Services partners with appropriate agencies and departments to best mitigate and recover from what crisis we face. Multi-agency tabletop exercises have proven very valuable to our partners in the past, and the Robin Sage CULEX Tabletop has provided yet one more successful avenue to test response capabilities. As a USARMY Veteran and former contractor with Robin Sage, I am honored to be able to educate and mentor these warriors in another capacity/environment. Be confident that some of the information learned from this training exercise will be used in foreign lands and battlefields in the future by these elite soldiers.”
The Special Forces Operational Detachment Alphas (ODA) is made up of “specialists” in that they each have been trained in specific disciplines during their training path. The Culminating Exercise (CULEX) as part of the Robin Sage experience/exercise, allows the students to use the skills learned over the last one to two years to be their final exercise to identify and overcome obstacles and achieve identified goals.
"We are honored to collaborate with local agencies of Randolph County in this capacity," stated a Robin Sage of fi cial. "Effective crisis response requires seamless coordination and cooperation across various stakeholders. By working together through these tabletop activities, we can ensure that our communities are better equipped to face any challenge that may arise."
