Empty seats are a common sight at City Council meetings.

Our City: Kirksville! The City Council typically meets during two official City Council meetings and one City Council study session each month. More often than not, there are few to no residents in attendance. Our City belongs to everyone who calls Kirksville home, and the City Council encourages you to attend their meetings! Learn more about our city during City Council study sessions, held on the second Monday of the month, and then make your voice heard during the formal City Council meetings held the first and third Mondays of the month (except for observed holidays) in the Council Chambers at City Hall. For information on these meetings, including agendas and minutes, visit the following link: www.kirksvillecity.com/councilnews. For more information, contact the City Clerk at 660.627.1225.
