Offices Closed for Holidays
The redesigned, secure Online Payment Portal.
Mobile enabled: pay anywhere, anytime!
A New Look for the Online Utility Payment Portal! Starting November 8, 2021, the City’s online utility payment portal will have a new look! If you currently use the online payment portal, all of your information will remain the same, and will be as safe and secure as ever. Making payments is easier with the redesigned utility payment portal, and you can do so on more devices! To sign up, visit the City’s website at www.kirksvillecity.com, click “Utilities”, and then “Pay Online” to access the online portal and create your login. If you are a new customer, you must receive one paper bill before signing up. Once registered, you can view your account activity, store payment profiles, and sign up for paperless bills. In observance of Veterans Day, all City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021. All City offices will reopen Friday, November 12, 2021, for regular business hours. In observance of Thanksgiving, all City Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26, 2021. All City offices will reopen Monday, November 29, 2021, for regular business hours. We wish everyone a happy, and safe, Thanksgiving!
Winterizing Your Water Meter

Now is the time to winterize your water meter! If your water meter is prone to freezing, you should take the following precautions to prevent the meter from freezing and breaking:

Make sure you have a tight-fitting lid on your meter pit.

Fill the meter pit with fiberglass insulation, especially if your lid doesn’t fit well.
Place a blanket or straw bale on top of the lid for insulation.
