Maintain social distancing of at least six feet whenever possible. Wash your hands, especially after contact with frequently-used surfaces. Limit group meetings and activities, and avoid large groups of ten or more people. Avoid all unnecessary travel both within—and outside of—the community.

General Municipal Election Postponed
On March 18, 2020, Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed an executive order postponing the General Municipal Election from Tuesday, April 7, 2020 to Tuesday, June 2, 2020 to help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) across the state. Just as before, you will be able to cast your vote for two candidates from the following four residents running for City Council (in the order they appear on the ballot): Rick Steele, Kevin A. Alm, Chuck Long, and Dana (Danny) McDowell. Each of the two City Council positions is for a full, three-year term. For information on the voting process itself—where, how, and what you’ll need—contact the Adair County Clerk at 660.665.3350.
