WELCOME TO KINGSWOOD HOUSE

Hello, and welcome to our Senior school prospectus. See what makes us the perfect place to come for secondary years, where growing as a person is as important as growing academically. It’s a rare school which wants to keep giving you all the best bits of primary school – the support, the fun, the confidence – alongside the opportunities and independence that come with growing older.

We wanted you to hear about the school from everyone who makes a difference, so you’ll see the feedback we received from pupils, from staff, from parents and from independent third parties like inspectors, reviewers and visitors. It’s wonderful, but actually not surprising, that people ‘get’ Kingswood House as soon as they walk through the door. You can feel the warmth, the kindness, the encouragement and the safety.

Kingswood House is a happy, ambitious and confident school. We’re committed to inclusivity and diversity – we want pupils from all walks of life, with the brilliant and unique mixtures of talent and difficulty that lie inside us all. We don’t do 11+ exams; in fact, we’re different in a lot of ways.

So come and have a look, I’d love to show you around. Just be warned that you might fall in love with the school when we walk through that door!
