ACCLAIMED concert pianist Santa Ignace will be back in Killarney for a one-off concert performance in The Brehon Hotel on Wednesday, June 1, at 7.30pm. Santa, who is currently studying for her second Master’s degree in piano performance at Amsterdam Conservatorium, is taking a short break from her studies to visit the many friends she made during her time living and working in Killarney. The performance in The Brehon will provide her with the opportunity to perform some of the works she has been preparing as part of her studies over this past year. Santa is really looking forward to her return to Killarney and is delighted to bring her latest programme which includes music by Medtner and Chopin. Santa will be joined on the evening by talented Hannah Sherry, Headford, a former student of hers, who will open the proceedings with music by Schumann and Chopin. This Piano Evening with San-
ta Ignace and Hannah Sherry promises to be a delight for lovers of classical music and an all too infrequent opportunity to see a wonderful pianist and master musician at work. Santa wanted to express her sincere thanks to Eileen O’Donoghue for her support and encouragement and for allowing her the fantastic facility at The Brehon Hotel Killarney. Admission to The Piano Evening is €15 and €10 for student’s unreserved seating. Santa Ignace.
