NE wedding led to another for Eoin O’Connell and Sarah Leavey. Fossa native Eoin and Sarah, from London, first laid eyes on one another eight years ago when he was attending a wedding in the Randles Court Hotel where she was working as a receptionist at the time. They exchanged vows in the Prince of Peace Church in Fossa in a ceremony led by parish priest Canon Tom Looney and held their reception in the Killarney Oaks Hotel. Sarah’s dad John Leavey walked her down the aisle and also helping the newlyweds celebrate were Eoin’s parents Pearl and JJ O’Connell and Sarah’s grandparents Hannah and Bill Leavey and Margaret Brady. Natalie Leavey was chief bridesmaid with Mags O'Connell, Samantha O'Donoghue, Sandra Hickey and Emma Coulson as bridesmaids. Lending their support in the role of groomsmen were Mick O'Connell, Kenneth Clifford, Colin Myers, Seamus Moriarty and Colm Foley. Also at the heart of the action in the role of flower girls and pageboys were Sarah’s cousins Ava and Liam Leavey and Eoin’s niece and nephew Hannah and Finn O’Driscoll. Eoin popped the question on Rossbeigh Beach. “I drove Sarah back that day and we took a walk

Sarah looked picture-perfect in a bridal gown sourced in Bridal Bliss in Cork teamed with the veil that had been worn by her mother, the late Michelle Leavey, on her wedding day. Amanda Keane from Fossa Hair Salon took care of the bridal hairstyling with makeup by Aine Doherty. Truly Diverse ensured the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away. The Killarney-based couple enjoyed a threeweek honeymoon in Thailand. Eoin works in sales and marketing with O’Donoghue Ring Hotels and Sarah is a healthcare assistant with Boots Pharmacy. • If you would like your big day featured in Killarney Advertiser Wedding of the Week contact Eve Kelliher on 064-6632215 or newsdesk@ killarneyadvertiser.ie
