Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is pleased to offer a beneficial inclusive care contract that offers value and peace of mind for those moving into independent living. With one contract per residence—meaning if two people are in a residence, they are under one contract— the Seafields Inclusive Care Benefit offers the below:
INDEPENDENT LIVING
Enjoy all the amenities, support, and programs expressly tailored for the Seafields community.
ASSISTED LIVING
A 40% discount off market rates in Assisted Living for the life of the contract, offering significant long-term savings, especially given the typical two-to-three-year stay.
DURING TRANSITION
To ensure a smooth transition, residents receive up to 90 days of assisted living, memory support, or skilled care as they move to a higher level of care. During the 90 days, residents pay only for their primary residence until the transition is permanent.
AND SKILLED CARE
In memory support or skilled care, each contract provides for a 20% discount off the market rate for 365 days. This total benefit can be used flexibly by one or both residents in the household up to the total maximum of 365 days in aggregate.
The Inclusive Care Benefit remains in force, supporting your household until the Seafields contract is terminated, at which time the Entrance Fee refund provisions as outlined below are applicable. The Entrance Fee refund is payable:
• When the last remaining contract holder is no longer within the Seafields by Bishop Gadsden continuum of care.
• The contract is terminated by the contract holder, and the independent living residence has been reoccupied.
• If a Seafields by Bishop Gadsden contract holder chooses to move to the Bishop Gadsden Charleston community location in independent or assisted living:
• Their Seafields contract will be terminated and a new Bishop Gadsden contract will be issued at the applicable published rates at the time. The Seafields refund would occur when the residence in independent living is reoccupied, or one year from the termination date, whichever is earlier.
