Community Health Fair at Florida Atlantic University and Broward College
Student members of The College of Healthcare Executives at Florida Atlantic University took part in the joint community health and safety fair held on the Davie campus, Saturday January 29, 2011. Florida Atlantic University and Broward College collaborated with the Town of Davie, State Farm Insurance and Memorial Hospital Pembroke to hold this free event. The fair featured approximately fifty booths showcasing representatives from local healthcare companies and nonprofits. Mobile units conducting health screenings for adults and children, including mammograms, blood pressure, cholesterol, HIV testing and EKG screenings, and child immunizations were offered. Thank you to our dedicated COHE student volunteers who give back to their community.
