The Health Administration Program Welcomes Dr. Elena Rios, MD As part of Hispanic Heritage Month at FAU, Dr. Elena Rios, President of the National Hispanic Medical Association, and a nationally known spokesperson on healthcare and healthcare employment for Hispanics addressed FAU students in the Barry Kaye Hall on October 14, 2010. Dr. Rios spoke about employment opportunities for Hispanics in the emerging healthcare system and the need for increased access to care for the Hispanic population.
