Regional Training Conference
What is a Regional Training Conference? A Regional Training Conference(RTC) is an opportunity for Key Clubbers from all over Region 12 to gather to learn more about their officer positions, our organization, and how to have a successful Key Club Year! It will be a fun event packed full of activities, forums, raffles, and even a guest speaker. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Who can attend our RTC? Any Key Clubber is welcome to attend the Regional Training Conference! Club officers are highly encouraged to attend the event, so they are able to gain more training on their position. When & Where will the RTC be? The Regional Training Conference will be held at Cypress Falls High School. The school’s address is 9811 Huffmeister Road, Houston, TX 77095. Doors will open around 7:30 - 8am and the RTC will be adjourned around 4pm. How can we attend the RTC? In the near future I will send a list to all the Club Officers to record who in their clubs wish to attend so we can gather an estimate of how many Key Clubbers in our Division wish to attend. Closer to the date of the RTC, we will record a final count of attendees from our division.
On Behalf of Region 12, I hope to see you all there!

Youth Opportunities Fund What is the Youth Opportunities Fund? The Youth Opportunities Fund(YOF) is an endowed fund for Key Club International held within Kiwanis International Foundation. What does the YOF do? YOF awards grants to help Key Clubbers from around the world take action. Service projects in your schools and communities can be funded by YOF grants. How can you apply for a YOF grant? Key Clubs can fill out a YOF grant application requesting between $100 to $2000. You can find the application at keyclub.org/yof. All applications must be submitted by October 15th at 11:59pm. How are YOF grants awarded? The YOF committee of the KCI board reviews the applications and selects the projects they would like to award grants to. The committee is more likely to select your application if you are requesting a grant for a part of the costs instead of the entire project cost. Funding notifications are sent out no later than January 1st each year.
