KPCC Marketing and Communication team: Who we are and what we do By Petterson Njogu Kenyatta Prime Centre is not just a pioneer in affordable and quality private care. We have also made it our mandate to make healthcare communications less confusing and collaborative with patients’ best interests at the pivot. Society for Health Communication defines health communication as the science and art of using communication to advance the health and well-being of people and populations. One of many reasons why people get overwhelmed by health care systems is its utter complexity. Bearing this in mind, much of KPCC Marketing & Communication team’s job is to simplify the evercomplicated world of health care, insurance, health-tech and medical research among others. We do not only give access to quality and affordable health care but we are also tasked with generating revenue that goes a long way in ensuring most services especially at the general hospital are subsidized for the common citizen while maintaining the highest level of professionalism while at it. To achieve this, we have a marketing team that goes out of their way; signing medical agreements and working partnerships with companies and businesses in the countrythis means the staff of the said companies get medicare services at our facility. Resource mobilization: Exploring potential donors and developing plans that are mutually beneficial to both parties. In return, donations received and projects undertaken by undersigned partners greatly boost KPCC’s efforts of becoming a worldclass center in the provision of prime healthcare services. Medical camps and outreaches: We have a team of professional event organizers who undertake this role. In conjunction with our medical staff, we take medical services to people instead of the other way around. Consequently, this aids in increasing the KPCC brand visibility and a chance to foster new engagements with potential long-term clients.
Customer Service; KPCC values its customers and values feedback even more. We have a team that listens to our clients by collecting feedback and suggestions. Complaints, inquiries, and compliments are duly noted and well-thought-out solutions are provided to every client’s satisfaction. Social Media; Kenyatta Prime Care has fully embraced the ever-evolving tech world. We create content for Facebook (Kenyatta Prime Care Centre), Twitter (@KNHprimecare), and YouTube (Kenyatta Prime Care Centre). Here, we engage with the public whilst informing them what’s going on at the facility. For real-time responses on booking, admissions, services offered, costs, etc., social media comes in handy. The overall purpose of KPCC Marketing & Communication is to disseminate health information and influence the best personal choices by improving health literacy, and to
every member of this department who helps to achieve this every dayBravo!
