All cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions set forth by the CAA and CSA. Terms - The terms of the sale are cash or cheque. All monies are in Canadian funds. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; payable at par to OBI. All settlements must be made with the clerk before any cattle will be released.

Disputes - Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Liabilities - all persons attend the sale at their own risk.

The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur.

It is understood that OBI is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does OBI assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce the collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between buyer and seller.

Insurance - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold, so we do recommend insurance.

W e would like to welcome you all to the 24th On Target Bull & Female Sale with the other guest consignors that are always a pleasure to work with. 2023 was an interesting and fun year. The weather was unpredictable was dry and then got some moisture then dry and warmer than usual was hard to get cattle

on a constant diet but was good to save on feed. Jesse and Miranda got married and even the cows were invited to the ceremony, it was very special for all of us. After all the years we strive for the same thing easy fleshing, good footed and good disposition cattle and out of some new sires this year Hostile and Duplicate. , PM Trapper and the Hostage bull that has worked so well for us , we also have some popular AI sires Aquifer and Sitz Major. In the reds there will be Specialists, Moonshines and Redman and a few AI bulls as well Mystical and Red Bear. Then we have added a Red Black carrier bull out of a Peak Dot Attractive Son from Richmond’s. There are bulls in the sale that will work for you if looking for calving ease or performance. The females in the sale are out of good foundation cows they are not over fed and ready to breed. A quiet, taller framed bull from an outstanding cow family.

His mother’s first calf sold in the bull sale and wow does she continue to impress us with the bulls she produces. His mother 54H has an excellent udder and has been a great mother for a young cow. His granddam 86X was a large volume cow with an excellent udder that produces many offspring for us. We just lost her this year after many great years. His sire 79J Duplicate is a Coalition bull that has been consistent in birthweight on his calves and adding heel to his calves. Duplicate is out of a cow we flushed, she had tremendous volume, great feet and udder and overall was a fantastic producer. We have used three herd sires that go back to her.
