We think that Red Goad Spice 246’25 has the potential to have a great impact on the lucky winner’s herd. A pedigree with a combination of some of the most maternal bulls we have used with Kujo, Bazinga, and Mystified all stacked up. The cool part of Goad 246N is that this cow family originated from the Northern Select Sale. Dutch Auction Format.
Once again it is my pleasure to invite you to the 47th Annual Northern Select Sale.
Last year’s sale was a huge success with having the sale on a Friday night and at the new location at Stettler, Ab. So, the board has decided to continue this venture for the 47th Northern Select Sale. I have many thoughts about this year’s offering, it is a transition year with having 10 new consignors which is great to expand our consignors and welcome new folks to this prestigious event. New people, new bloodlines will expand the sale.
Some things will never change with the Northern Select Sale; the hospitality of the consignors and the sale is always cherished by all. The quality of the animals selected from these herds. The cattle that go through this ring simply work for all. This year along with the 60 females are 2 outstanding herdbull candidates.
Again, in my travels it was a pleasure going thru the cow herds of the Northern Consignors and working with them to market their females in this sale. When going to each operation I discuss game plans for this sale and the future of their marketing and promotion and then we sit and negotiate which animals will do that for each program.
The sale cattle will start coming to Stettler on Thursday morning with a meeting of the Northern Club at 11:00 AM on Friday. The supper, that you won’t want to miss, will commence at 5:30 PM with the sale being Friday Night at 7:00 PM. We will be on sale site from Thursday until Sale time.
I would like to thank again the club and all the supporters of this event last year; your commitment and loyalty to this sale is second to none. If any member of OBI or Myself or the sale staff can assist you, please feel free to call us. See you in Stettler, November 14th.

Sprucefield Badger 25N will be the first bull calf to sell in Canada from Baldridge Badger. Badger is out of Baldridge Isabel Y69, the donor dam that is one of the best cows in North America siring many top A.I. bulls. (Beast Mode, 38 Special, Bronc, Marksman, Herdsman, Vegas) These offspring when chatting with Mark from OBI are sure leading the operations that he has seen calves. We also agree with his thoughts as our progeny are dam good!! After a lot of discussions, we decided to consign 25N into the very prestigious Northern Select Sale. His dam is a daughter of a female we purchased form the Waveny Angus Farms herd at Vermilion. Jenna 72J has a great udder with exceptional foot under her. A fancy fronted female that did an amazing job this year. This bull calf has so much meat and muscle and walks out easily with pride and conviction. We are very proud of Badger 25N, we will be using him in our program. He is our type of bull, power with extra rib and the size we need in the Angus industry. He will be at Farmfair, so please do come by the stall and see for yourself. Oct 10 Wt: 1230 lbs. TERMS OF SALE: ½ Down Sale Day and ½ Paid when bull passes semen test to Sprucefield Farms. Sprucefield Farms will take the bull home to develop and winter until semen testing. Sprucefield Farms is Retaining a 1/2 Semen Interest.

We are excited to offer this young but powerful herd sire prospect in the Northern Sale this year. Robust 21N has been an absolute standout since birth. From day one he has caught the eye of anyone that has seen him with his impressive spring of rib, shape and power. When turning the cows out on pasture on June 7th, we ran him across the scale just for the fun of it, 618 lbs. Wow! He followed that up with an astounding 1052 lb. September 17th weaning weight. His sire, Bar-E-L 0807 Cry Macho was the $28,000 high selling BC Robust son from the Longshore’s in 2022. His calves are moderate in frame but densely packed with muscle and shape, not a hole in them. 21N, rachets it up a notch further with his dam’s pedigree, Eggen Freedom 174P 40T. Freedom was the high selling bull from Double F Cattle Co. back in 2008. At that time, he was a true power bull in every way, with few others like him. 21N’s dam, a young 3rd calver is super long bodied, with a great udder, foot and disposition. Stop by the farm prior to the sale at anytime to have a look, you won’t be disappointed.
TERMS OF SALE: ½ Down Sale Day and ½ Paid when bull passes semen test to Silver Knight Angus. Silver Knight Angus will take the bull home to develop and winter until semen testing. Silver Knight Angus is Retaining a 1/3 Semen Interest.

Everblack Travelling Lucy 47M is a typical Stamina female. She is big barrelled, deep bodied, has loads of hair and is setting down a really nice udder. The dam 201C is one of our top cows in her class. Her first 2 offspring went to Sand Creek Angus. She had a daughter through the 2021 Northern sale to BAR-E-L, two more sons through the bull sale with one being a top seller to Triple J Angus of Whitewood, and a daughter in the herd. She will be on the short list to enter the donor pen next spring. Let’s see if the old timers remember 47M’s fifth dam…. back in 1991 a cow named Whiskey Jack Travelling Lucy 2Z sold through this very sale. Lucy 2Z was the mother of a highly maternal bull named Everblack Masterplan 007 who sold to Dwajo and Minburn Angus. Goes to show how this sale has stood the test of time and continues to produce productive cattle for generations. 47M is due to calve mid January to McCumber Armour 058. This could be an exciting addition!
DATE. DUE JAN 23.
Everblack Lucy 105M is a moderate made beauty. She is square hipped, wedge shaped and sound to the ground. A typical Six Mile Showtime 80H daughter, he is doing a nice job siring sound, functional cattle. The dam Lucy 52H came from the Carters at J Lazy A. She was the pick of their heifer calves and has turned into a beautiful cow. Extremely easy fleshing with a great udder. 52H has a top end bull calf that will sell in next springs bull sale. If you’re into EPD’s, Lucy 105M has an impressive birth to yearling spread. She will make you some progeny with built in calving ease. With a rebuild on the horizon at this stage in the cattle cycle, these offspring will be very valuable. She is carrying an exciting service to the $30,000 66 Ranch Water 92M bull, our pick of the calving ease bulls at the 66 Ranch Spring Bull Sale.

Babe 02M is a heifer with balanced power and a feminine edge. At the Northern Angus Club Tour on August 23rd she was definitely a highlight, so much so that after a bit of arm twisting we decided to run with the interest she gathered and enter her in the sale. Her sire Merit Investment 1054J has become a much talked about top end sire in the last few years. He was the high seller in Merits bull sale spring of 22. He definitely puts that great genetic legacy stamp on his progeny today and 02M is proof of that. On the dams side Babe 02H adds the little extra punch of performance and power to give this heifer the look that’s pretty hard not to admire. Her service sire Avelyn Montana 303M was a home raised bull sired by Brookdale Brutus 390. We believe this mating will be a standout with 02M’s style and length and Montana’s depth and muscular shape.

Here’s another outstanding daughter out of the Babe cow family. These daughters have been bred to work and built to impress with depth power and proven maternal strength. She shares the same maternal lineage as the 02M heifer. She combines impressive width, depth and neck extension with the kind of balance and appeal we strive for in our females. The cow family goes right back to our matriarch Babe 55R which has always been known here at Avelyn as the “easy keeper” line. Her sire Pedersen Hollowpoint 3H worked the pastures for several years leaving us with outstanding females and sons that always hit the top in sales. When the opportunity arose to utilize our high selling bull Mr Macho from our 2025 bull sale we didn’t hesitate to jump on it. This coupon she carries is destined to hit the keeper pen.

A very good Connealy Big Valley daughter, who, if she emulates her mother, should be a top producer. Her dam 46D consistently produces calves that weigh right up there when they come off pasture.

As all the Tiger Hawk progeny are, this heifer is very quiet and a real sweetheart. The Tiger daughters are really impressive, and his sons are some of the first to sell every year. It’s a proven calving ease line that sacrifices nothing in the process. The Delia cow family produces very well no matter what the mating. This 26M heifer should do the same, with a double shot of HF Tiger 5T on the topside, and a Net Worth dam who’s linebred Traveler on the bottom side. Bred to the legendary sire Musgrave Aviator for a February calf, because why not? Tested genetic defect free through the CAA.

It isn’t very often that we are willing to part with a top end bred heifer with a pedigree we love, bred the way we want and due to calve in early January but here she is! 37M has it all with awesome hair, strong topline, depth, spring of rib, and putting down a correct udder all in a moderate, very attractive package. Her maternal grand dam JES 56C, was purchased at this very sale back in 2016 and is still in production and due to calve by mid-January for her tenth consecutive year…strong fertility and longevity traits here folks! Her dam, VAP 12J, is a larger framed, correct, motive daughter just beginning her career as a promising brood cow at CLA. Her sire, SAV Early Arrival 0903, is a true curve bender being in the top 2% for CE, 3% for BW and still stretching to a 115 YW. To top it all off, Miss Essence 37M is carrying early service to Coleman World Wide 2562 who has not disappointed in the progeny we have on the ground. He combines one of the most intriguing low birth weight profiles in the industry with unmatched phenotype. We really feel this Coupon on offer is something special…so don’t miss out!

When Mark contacted us about putting females in the Northern Select Sale I was so excited to let him select out of a pen of 50 bred heifers. It didn’t surprise me when his first pick was 2M. She has been a standout since day 1, and being a daughter of Final Answer made it that much better. On the dam’s side she is a paternal grand daughter of SAV Net Worth. 2M is a very stylish long bodied easy moving powerful female. She weaned off at 820 pounds and Sept 24, weighed 1440. She has 2 maternal sisters working our herd. Look up Lakeroad Favourtie 2M Sale Day!

13M Is an impressive daughter of Riverstone Splash, the Splash cattle are like peas in a pod. They are so uniform in their makeup, the females are deep bodied wide topped thick and yet so smooth and clean and feminine through their front ends. They all have beautiful hair coats that adds to their beauty. Splash is a calving ease bull with good performance numbers in his calves. We offer 2 of Splash females in our bull sale this spring LAKEROAD MISTYS VALENTINE 7M sold to RR 40 Angus for $9500 and LAKEROAD ROSEBUD 17M sold to Morgan Lamontagne and Lane Paley for $8100. We are very excited for the future of these two females going into such great programs.

In May 2023 I was fortunate enough to get the use of 872F from the good folks at Avelyn Angus. He stamped his calves with depth of hind quarter and easy doing. 6M is an example of what he did for me. Unfortunately I only got one years use from him. Fortunately for you Mark picked one out for this sale. She is easy doing and thick quartered. To trop it off she is AI’d to the easy calving sire SAV Rainfall 6846.

AJS 65M is from the Tibbie family that is known for making great females. It was hard to convince my wife to let this one go. She is easy fleshing, quiet natured, long bodied, solid foot structure and starting to show a beautiful udder. Daughter of Collins Alabama 65K and granddaughter of Schiefelbein Showman. AJS 65M is bred to Schwan Journeyman 19M for a late February calf. She has a promising future as a productive cow.

I have opened the vault…finally. I have been in the Angus breed for a long time, but this is my first ever offering in the Northern Select sale. A big thank you to Mark Holowaychuk and the Northern Select sale group for the opportunity to offer this pedigree packed, powerful heifer. She is a very feminine, long bodied female with a big hip and volume to match. I am also very thankful to Doug and Kate Reid. I purchased the mother Georgina 40E from the Reid Angus Dispersal sale. After seeing this cow with her calf at side, I couldn’t resist the temptation to own her. Her Daughter 10M proves why this investment was a good move. I owe a big thank you to Atlasta Angus for the opportunity to breed this heifer naturally to Duralta 1054 Zulu 140M, a Merit Investment son.

Here’s a heifer calf that stood out as a crowd favourite as well at the Northern Angus Club Tour in August. This Pride 707N daughter out of the very popular Sterling Pacific sire - a grandson of the renowned Baldridge Isabel Y69. She is a uniquely desirable female that commands attention the moment you step in the pen. She combines elegance, length and depth with a flawless structure and a great set of feet and legs. Her refined look and striking side profile make her one of the most eye catching females we’ve had the privilege to raise. She patterns closely after her dam and exemplifies the refinement and performance we aim to breed. Junior members take note this sweetheart wants to be a show heifer.

Here we have heifer calf from a dam Matt and Kendra purchased out of this very sale a number of years ago. Sired by the RAML Potent 8427, a bull that we used extensively in our herd through AI for a couple of years. He was known to be a highly appealing sire adding that ruggedness, size and length, attributes that we feel are so critical to maintaining the powerful bull makers we need to keep our herd moving forward. This heifer combines that extra thickness and bone quality. These as well are traits that promise a bright future and long life of productivity and performance. We have 27N’s full sib at home and can’t wait to see how she develops into a cow this winter. Her dam features a beautifully balanced udder and continues to shine in the herd. This is a female that possibly will stamp out quite a legacy for herself in your herd for years to come. Juniors take note this one checks all of the boxes.

Paternal sister to Lot 1 in this year’s Northern Select Sale. Sprucefield Nikki 19N traces back to the LLB Angus herd where we have obtained a lot of females from. Baldridge Badger on the sire side will enhance more power to your herd with extra top, rib and overall capacity. These Baldridge Badger calves will be the talk of the 2025 calf crop. Remember the Baldridge Isabel Y69 Cow, some say the best female in North America. 19N will be a larger female that will sure lay you down top end calves with her mass and depth. She will be at Farmfair on display. Oct 10 Wt: 1025 lbs.

EVERA OF GUMBO GULCH 186T

Geis Evera 8N is the image that we see in our heads when we think of the ideal Angus cow that we are trying to build here on our operation. Evera has that look where you just know she’ll be a strong herd builder in her future. She has that strong jaw and maternal head to her that we just love the look of. Her dam was one of my first junior projects that I bought from Miller Wilson Angus who, much like her daughter, is possessing the same characteristic to her that is a strong producing Herd Dam. Her sire is one of the best Angus Herdsires in the land, Four Mile Progeny are sure at the top of everyone’s lists. She’s the one we got talked into putting into the sale that we are happy to see go to another operation because she’s the perfect example of what we strive to build a herd of.

Country Lane Rose 44N is a striking heifer that checks all the boxes for breeders looking to invest in maternal excellence, structural integrity, and long-term value. This moderate-framed, deep-bodied female is built with longevity and productivity in mind, and her pedigree is stacked with proven genetics that consistently deliver results. Her sire, Greenwood Gamenight 74G, has been a game-changer in our program— bringing together the elite maternal influence of Bar E L Natural Law and the powerful cow family behind RRD Tibbie 28Z. On the bottom side, 44N traces back to the legendary Soo Line Rose 1019, a cornerstone of maternal strength, and the widely respected Schiefelbein Showman 338, known for adding performance and eye appeal. Her dam, Country Lane Rose 18L, has truly outdone herself with this first calf. 18L is quickly rising to become one of our foundational females, showing the kind of udder quality, disposition, and maternal instinct that we strive to build our herd around. If you’re looking for a female with a future, 44N is it.

Country Lane Annie 70N is a midFebruary heifer that has been turning heads since the day she hit the ground. With her elegant front end, sweeping rib shape, and overall balance, she combines eye appeal with the kind of structural integrity that sets cattle apart in both the show ring and the pasture. Sired by Ter-Ron Clipper 131J, a bull known for stamping his calves with consistency, soundness, and excellent foot quality. This is our first year with Clipper daughters in production, and we are thrilled with the udder quality and maternal traits they’re bringing to the table. Her dam, Country Lane Annie 32J, is an embryo purchase from Brooking Angus Ranch, and she’s lived up to every expectation. Sired by SAV Renovation 6822 and out of the beautiful Brooking Annie 307 (pictured below), 32J is a moderate-framed, deep-bodied cow who is just beginning to show her full potential. She’s the kind of female you build around—and 70N is following right in her footsteps. Whether you’re looking for a competitive junior project or a future cornerstone female, Country Lane Annie 70N offers the best of both worlds. She’s stylish, maternally bred, and backed by a pedigree loaded with proven genetics. This is a heifer with the kind of potential that doesn’t come around often—don’t miss your chance to add her to your program.

Marta! A heifer calf with such a nice hip, long spine & beauty of a skull. Her mother, 39C pictured this summer as a 10 year old cow - and yes, with an udder like that. She should make it quite a few more years with that one. 594, looks like she’s going to be the same way! Sired by Bounty, a bull with so much breed character & performance. Bounty’s look clearly carries through, same as her paternal brother BCC Enforcement 498. You can’t help but love her.

Not every day do you find one as nice fronted with as much rib shape & thickness. This one has become hard to let go of. Such nice hair & a great temperament. We think she’d make a really fun show heifer. Sired by BCC Bounty 38J, she’s bound to produce some performance packing calves - like her paternal brother BCC Enforcement 498. Her granddam, 107A has always been a very influential part of our cow herd & we’re happy to have a cow like 83J who can confidently take her place.

She’s the kind of heifer you can’t help but notice: feminine, fancy fronted, and exceptionally long bodied. In fact, she’s so long, one time we saw her entering the barn and leaving it at the same time. Her dam, 92J, is a powerhouse cow with an ideal udder, extra depth, length of body, and a striking head and extension. On the sire side, 17N is by Hostage, a bull who has stamped countless high-selling bulls and females in our program. With the bull being lost this spring, opportunities for Hostage progeny are now limited—making 17N one of the last heifers of her kind to sell.

“When you know, you know.” That saying couldn’t be truer when it comes to Tippy 13N. From just a few weeks old, she stood out as something special--- one of those heifers you only grow to appreciate more with time. Sired by South Point 8362, 13N is ultra-feminine, with a striking Angus skull, an elegant front third, impressive length, and a sound, solid foot underneath her. She started life at a modest 72 lbs. and weaned off in late September at an impressive 827 lbs.— a performance that speaks volumes, especially when you consider her maternally loaded pedigree. Her dam, KY 3J, is a direct daughter of Bravo 6313 and brings even more to the table with a pictureperfect udder, excellent feet, and an incredibly gentle disposition. She’s already proving her worth as a young, productive female in our herd. We retained a maternal sister to 13N by Baldridge Bronc, and she just calved this spring—her bull calf weaned off at 872 lbs.! The Tippy cow family is as consistent as they come— no-fail, low maintenance females that flat-out work. If you’re looking for a “sure-thing,” here she is.

PLC 708N is a heifer with a lot of potential in and out of the show ring. She comes from a cow that we appreciate a lot for her production and maternal traits. We love that she has stamped the same qualities into this heifer calf. We admire the foot set beneath her, along with her refined front end. We are confident she will be an asset to anyone’s herd whether you are established or just starting out!
IKZ 59N is one to stop and take a look at. She was a pasture favorite this summer, and many producers like her on display at the Northern Alberta Angus Tour that we co-hosted with Avelyn Angus. Her dam is a first calf cow with a beautiful udder and maintained her condition while weaning this calf off at 905lbs. The sire on her is Bear Mountain Northstar, and there are only 3 offspring currently registered in Canada. If he puts females like this on the ground there will be more on the way in the future!

OAV First Class 2N is a standout female we’re proud to offer in this our first year consigning. She exemplifies structural correctness with an angular build, smooth shoulder, and impressive spring of rib and depth. Her sire, LFE Best Answer 800H, continues to build a strong reputation for producing calves with exceptional calving ease and explosive growth. This is clearly reflected in 2N, who posted a modest 67 lb birthweight and weaned off at an impressive 726 lbs. This heifer is out of a first-calver, OAV Classy 17L, who has truly outdone herself— though not unexpectedly, given her lineage. 17L is a direct daughter of OAV Classy 4Z (“Oprah”), a cornerstone of the OAV program and a student favorite, whose influence has been perpetuated through strategic flushing. 17L is a powerful female with massive body capacity and carries the hallmark udder quality of the Classy cow family— traits we fully expect 2N to carry forward. With a calm disposition and strong maternal lineage, OAV First Class 2N would make an ideal junior project or a valuable addition to any progressive herd.

We thought adding Mercury would solidify the maternal strength we value. The first calf born in my new barn at 86 Lbs and Weaned off Sept 1 at 770Lbs. He goes back to their Rolling Stone 10G bull and is backed by the famous Miss Essence cow family. I chose this mating because DLW 10N’s mother has been a consistent producing cow for us no matter what we bred her to. She has great feet and excellent temperament. These Rollin On calves absolutely shocked all of us on there vigour at birth. These calves were up within minutes and looking for milk. DLW 10N is stamped like her siblings in the pen at home. They stand up on correct feet and legs, they are deep bodied, and wide across the top. Her mother is bred back the same way in hopes that I get another heifer for myself.

I knew that I wanted to try him out and have been very happy with the results that we have used him two years in a row now. He sired a strong set of female and bull calves at our place, that are moderate framed, big middled, soggy made, and good footed. 361N combines a very unique maternal pedigree, with the combination of Chateau, Seneca, Renown, Reverence, and a double shot of the very popular U2 Reckoning. If you look at cow families that she combines in this pedigree it’s a no brainer that 361N will be a power cow in that making.

I think every year that Mark comes to tour now, he’s never surprised to see some calves from different sires that he might not see at a lot of other places. We sampled a few doses of Red KCC Pinnacle 949-109, and to say we have been absolutely floored by these calves from birth would be an understatement. 411M might have a little bit earlier birthdate than some others in the sale, she was born at a short gestation and just continued to grow and perform all year long on her first calving dam. The Dana cow family has been a top cow family for us and we believe that 411N will be a great start to a new cow family for her new owner.

If you’re hunting for one to run hard in the show ring and then write her own chapter in the donor pen, LXE 505N is built for the big stage. Sired by the high-octane Red Lwnbrg Adrenaline 28J and backed by the rock-solid Red Elf Chloe 127J, this heifer blends cow family consistency with the kind of look that grabs banners. She’s bold in her rib, wide-based, and squarehipped, yet still ultra-feminine through her front end and dead level down her top. The balance, hair, and presence she carries will make her a force on the halter — just like her full sister LXE 403M who’s already turned heads, and her maternal sister LXE 306L that carries the same undeniable look. 505N isn’t just good — she’s the kind you build a program around.

A dark red female that’s very attractive in her overall make. Marty is a real elegant fronted heifer that’s long bodied. The Marty cow family adds tons is mass with high weaning weights while still being functional. 5N is the first female that goes back to the $45,000 Red U2Q Demand 464J, Demand has been putting perfect feet and udders on his females along with calving ease. Her Grand dam is in the donor pen so count on this Marty cross Demand daughter to pay the bills!

LOTS 58 & 59
In the summer of 2024, when Mark toured our herd, he quickly took note of all our Cracker Jack heifer calves. Even before the visit, he was eager to see them in the pasture, knowing they were something special. We’ve invested heavily in using Cracker Jack in our herd over the next couple years, and while it’s not easy to part with these females, we’re proud to showcase females that truly represent the strength of our program. Both heifers are ¾ sisters out of Cracker Jack and Bazinga dams and are productive, easy keeping females that will leave a lasting impact. Goad 202M comes from our Reba cow family which has been a strong foundation in our herd for many years. These females consistently perform well and make an impact in both our herd and other purebred herds.Goad 245M traces back to our Dana cow family – always competitive with the Reba’s. Goad 411M who is also offered in this sale comes from the Dana cow family as well. Both heifers are confirmed safe to their AI service of Red Ter-Ron Laredo 55L, a popular Judo son known for calving ease and strong performance.

4M is a heifer that goes back to my first ever Red Angus cow from Boyd at Brox Stock Farm. I am grateful to Boyd Monea and Shelley and Dennis Ericson for getting me started in this breed. It has turned into an addiction. We are grateful to the committee for inviting us to this sale. Steve and I have made it our mission to continually improve our herd. We have done this by buying some amazing animals, both cows and bulls, as well as using semen from quality bulls. 4M is a product of this. She is a powerful heifer that will catch your eye. She has lots of hip and depth. Her sire is my Cowboy herdsire that goes back to Cowboy Cut. Her mother consistently produces a great calf and I expect she will be the same. Bred to Red Dwajo Sundance 18M, the bull we purchased for $20,000 at the On Target Bull sale this spring.

12M is a heifer that goes back to my second ever Angus cow from Boyd Monea at Brox Stock Farm. This heifer is cherry red, moderate framed and deep. Her mother has good feet and a great udder. These traits have carried through going back to her great grandmother who produced great offspring until she was 16. Longevity, good feet and udders are the stamp of this line and will add to anyone’s program. Her sire is a Razor son out of a great cow. Bred the same way at the above lot to Red Dwajo Sundance 18M, who is sired by the Alta Genetics and Topham Red Angus herdsire, Red Dwajo Sundance 114A. Angus GS Parent Verified

This is a female that screams momma cow. She’s a nice dark red with lots of body to her. Her dam has produced exceptional females for us, and she’s the last one born from that momma cow. We are sad to see her go, but know she will be a great addition to someone’s herd. Sired by Red Airam Red Box 07K (direct son out of Red Mann Red Box 55C). This is a female that is sure to add some power and dark red to her offspring. Angus GS Parent Verifed

A great donation by Allandale Angus for the 2025 Rob Holowaychuk Memorial Fund. History time. Dad bought Merit Pride 7136 at the Prairie Lillies Sale in 2008. She came to Everblack Angus and after a lot of discussions that Rob and Wayne had, her new residence was Allandale Angus. Dad had a tenancy to do that to some people. Well Wayne was sure glad she did as she became a Donor Cow at the farm. She raised 5 daughters in the herd and sold 6 commercial bulls out of her. The sire of the embryos is the $80,000 phenom HF Showtime 78H that we partnered with Double F Cattle Co. He has been a standout sire group for us over the past 4 years. I felt this was a fitting mating for this year’s Northern Sale and sadly the last year for Allandale Angus as well as he is dispersing his herd later this fall. Thanks, Wayne, for your support and friendship to the Northern Select Sale over the years. Wayne donated the heifer calf to start the Rob Holowaychuk Memorial Fund and now as you can see 21 kids have received $1000 to a purchase to start their own herd.

Congrats to these Juniors on their recent winnings this past spring, all animals purchased from the Northern Select Sale.
