Calling that day “ Drama Free Day”. Doing it every year on 3/23. It’s a day when she encourages good vibes, for everyone to spread love , live positively as well as free of drama! It’s just one day , but the message is strong! Stenson is determined to push it for the rest of her life. This is an accomplishment she is most proud of along with the annual keep kids safe Halloween event she hosts making a difference in the community. Other differences being made includes volunteering her time with community and kid haircut events. She is all about giving, spreading love and sharing knowledge to others.
Mahima represents all of us, Mahimas Closet located at 404 Oak Street Suite 300 in Syracuse NY is the business name . Maurisha’s nick name Queen Midas means that she has that magic golden touch & blesses you with it. Including hair, make up, or anything else creative wise. Mahimas Closet provides fashion, hair, skincare and body maintenance services. A fashion and cosmetology instructor making her own skin care products teaching students in the Syracuse City School district to make their own also. Maurisha believes it’s important for women to have their own business and to be happy with what you do.
At 4 months pregnant she I lost her boyfriend. After being in isolation that 1st year began turning to God changed her as a person. Learning compassion ,forgiveness, and growing spirituality. By the time his 1 year passing anniversary came Maurisha didn’t want to mourn anymore. She transformed wanting to share her growth.
started a career in nursing and went for my LPN, that’s how she became interested in caring for the human body inside & out, combining that with her love of beauty.
