Project_ Intersection Design for streets of Karadjordjeva, Zelena gora and Vuka Karadzica in Kraljevo Client_ Kraljevo City Administration

Our team has prepared complete design for a roundabout at the junction of the following streets: Vuka Karadzica, Karadjordjeva and Zelena gora.

The project included consideration of potential options for intersection configuration and control, and after analysis in the SIDRA Intersection software tool, choosing the optimal solution. Civil engineering part of the project was related to redesigning the intersection geometry. Special attention was attributed to relocation of the existing bus stops at the route on Karadjordjeva Street.

The main goals of this project were the following effects:

Uninterrupted traffic flow Reduction of traffic accidents – road safety improvement Reduction of conflict points Increase of capacity Improvement of the intersection Level of Service.

As part of this project, Preliminary Design, Building Permit Design and Detailed Design (design for construction) were prepared.

Project_ Reconstruction of Vuka Karadzica Street Client_ Directorate for Planning and Construction “Kraljevo”

The scope of works included the provision of project documentation for the reconstruction of Vuka Karadzica Street. This street is an arterial street, and it is located within Boracko naselje (suburb in the city of Kraljevo). The section of the street for reconstruction was 350m long.

The main goals of the reconstruction of Vuka Karadzica Street were improvement of the Level of Service, to enable an uninterrupted traffic flow, improvement of traffic safety (including both pedestrians and motor vehicles). Additional task was resolving the onstreet parking arrangement. Futhermore, drainage, electrical design (public lighting) and other infrastructure problems were required to be resolved in accordance with the relevant City standards.

Preliminary design and detailed design (for construction) were issued to the Directorate for Planning and Construction “Kraljevo”.
