KCTT were engaged by GM Dayton Land to provide Civil Engineering Services, inclusive of Concept Design, Detailed Design, Tender Assessment and Administration, Contract Administration, and UWMP Design Services on a 350-lot development area in Dayton which has been developed in stages over a 7-year period. Services KCTT provided on this project include but are not limited to:
Preliminary Infrastructure Service Reporting and project feasibility estimate; Preparation of Urban Water Management Plan; Concept and Detailed Design of urban infrastructure inclusive of: wastewater disposal system, scheme water supply system, storm water disposal and management systems, earthworks, road and intersection design. KCTT were engaged by the City of Swan to redesign the existing Lord Street road reservation between a location south of Youle-Dean Road and Marshall Road Dayton.
The project is necessitated by the urban expansion of the Swan Growth Corridor as well as the requirements of the Ellenbrook Bus Rapid Transit project and the proposed realignment of “New Lord Street” into the former Perth to Darwin National Highway Corridor.
KCTT provided detailed design engineering services in the following fields:-

Geometric road design; Storm water drainage design; Signage and line marking;

Zivalia WA
KCTT are the civil design consultant for the development of 200 lots for Handle Property Group in Peregrine Estate, Piera Waters.
The development is located on the western side of Wright Road and exhibits specific issues with high groundwater (exhibiting at surface through much of the development).
KCTT provided a range of services including:- • Detailed geometric road design; • Stormwater drainage design; • Sewer and water design; • Coordination of electrical, telecommunications, gas and landscaping inputs • Intersection design and roundabout design.
KCTT have recently completed the administration of an open tender process with the project split into separable portions for early earthworks and the construction of 3 stages consecutively of the development.



Project_ Town of Port Hedland TPS Amendments Client_ Town of Port Hedland
KCTT were engaged by the Town of Port Hedland as a suitably qualified consultant to update the strategy and concurrently prepare a new local planning scheme to implement the revised strategy. The ultimate purpose of this Project is delivery of a revised Strategy and new Scheme covering the entire municipality of the Town of Port Hedland in accordance with relevant planning legislation, policy and practices. Structure of the process includes the phases as follows:
Phase 1: Project Inception, Detailed Review of Existing Strategy & Scheme Phase 2: Prepare Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plan & Deliver Engagement Activities Phase 3: Prepare Draft Local Planning Strategy & Scheme Phase 4: Council Briefing, Refer to Council Meeting, Refer to WAPC to Certify Advertising Phase 5: Public Advertising of Draft Strategy and Scheme Phase 6: Finalization of Strategy and Scheme Documentation Phase 7: Publish and Advertise Approved Strategy and Scheme.

Perth College

Lawley Crescent is a road with strong pedestrian activity and pronounced requirement for pedestrians to cross it often throughout day. The school recently estimated that there are approximately 3,500 pedestrian crossings per day during school periods on Lawley Crescent. A formal zebra crossing will significantly enhance the safe movement of students/pedestrians throughout the day and for this reason the implementation of a zebra crossing has been a key component of the streetscape works proposed by the School.

KCTT completed the full design and tendering process for the development and construction was completed in 2017. Services KCTT provided on this project include but are not limited to:

project_ WALGA_Murat Road and Mortiss Street Enhancement Project client_ Shire of Exmouth
KCTT were engaged to design and manage the delivery of approximately 4.5km of Murat Road and 1.5km of realignment of Mortiss Street to cater for heavy vehicles and a separated residential access.
KCTT prepared Civil Engineering Design for Murat Road and Mortiss Street along with the following intersections: • Murat Road / Preston Street • Murat Road / Mortiss Street • Murat Road / Gnulli Court • Murat Road / Kestrel Place • Murat Road / Corella Court • Murat Road / Reid Street.
One of KCTT’s key achievements in this project was managing the full delivery of the project within budget and enabling a small contract sum to be set aside for additional drainage enhancements in Murat Road which are presently being tendered for delivery in 2020.


Project_ Rockingham Road, Munster Client_ Progress Developments
KCTT were engaged by Progress Developments to provide Civil Engineering Services, inclusive of Concept Design, Detailed Design, Tender Assessment and Administration, Contract Administration, and UWMP Design Services on a 28-lot development area in Munster which will be completed in December 2019.
Services KCTT provided on this project include but are not limited to:
• Preliminary Infrastructure Service Reporting and project feasibility estimate; • Preparation of Urban Water Management Plan; • Concept and Detailed Design of urban infrastructure inclusive of: wastewater disposal system, scheme water supply system, storm water disposal and management systems, earthworks, road and intersection design. • Obtaining all mandatory approvals, liaison with all relevant authorities and coordination of all design drawings from various consultants; • Organization, assessment and award of tender for construction inclusive of: preparation of tender drawings, specifications; organization of tender; assessment and award of tender; • Contract Management including site inspections, organization of meetings, and administration of contract during construction, organizing final inspections.

KCTT have achieved a balanced budget on this project by iterating the design as construction issues are found inclusive of: -
Modifications to the proposed intersection with Rockingham Road to negate requirements to relocate a major Telstra optic fibre asset. Modifications to lot levels to negate the requirements for a noise wall on the eastern boundary.

Lucky Bay Campgrounds
Department of Parks and Wildlife
KCTT were engaged by the Department of Parks and Wildlife to complete civil engineering design for Lucky Bay Campgrounds in Cape Le Grand National Park, approximately 60 kilometres east of Esperance. The design brief encompasses: over 100 parking bays, camp sites and caravan bays, over 2.5 kilometres of roadways and over 1 kilometre of footpaths inclusive of stairs.
This iconic location represented a particular engineering challenge due to varying site levels, specific nature of the project itself and work within highly restricted areas (national park). Usage of locally produced construction materials was set as a priority.
The design commenced in late January 2015. Construction began in July 2015 and was completed before the start of tourist season.


Project_ Lot 26 Coast Road, City of Swan Client_ Home Group WA
KCTT assisted Home Group WA with completion of their first land development project. Lot 26 Coast Road has been subdivided and developed into 31 residential lots. KCTT have completed design and managed construction of this development. The work on overall concept design commenced in May 2014 with construction completed in May 2015, in accordance with the project programs.
Services KCTT provided on this project include but are not limited to:
