CURTIN UNIVERSITY

WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING

In July 2016 we have commenced a formal partnership with Curtin University to formally develop a mentoring programme for young talented under-graduate and graduate engineers.

WESTERN AUSTRALIAN LEADERS

KCTT were invited and accepted as Executive Members of Western Australian Leaders in June 2016 together with 24 other companies selected as part of their Executive Program. This is a 3 year commitment for Colin and Marina Kleyweg.

ISO9001.2015 QUALITY ASSURANCE CERTIFICATION

KCTT have just passed out Stage 2 ISO9001.2015 Quality Assurance Certification and have been recommended for full certification.

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT’S ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAMME

Australian Government recognized KCTT potential and we were recently accepted into Australian Government Entrepreneurs’ Program.

OUR SERVICES

CIVIL ENGINEERING:-

Land Development- represents a complex set of activities pertinent to design and implementation of Greenfield and brownfield urban infrastructure projects. This includes but is not limited to: preliminary feasibility investigations, design of wastewater, water and drainage systems, roads and intersections, earthworks, management of tendering process and contract administration.

Urban Water Management Plan - report on strategies to manage water on larger scale projects. Document and calculations are prepared in accordance with following documents: “Better Urban Water Management” document prepared by WAPC and DoW and “Guidelines for Preparing Plans and for Complying With Subdivision Conditions” prepared by DoW.

Concept Design - preparation of drawings to a standard 15% engineering design.

Detailed Design - continuation of the concept design to provide a robust and cost effective design; obtaining all necessary approvals

Tender Administration - preparation of engineering drawings for tendering, preparation of engineering specifications for tendering, advertising tender, responding to questions of tenderers, assessing and awarding the tender.

Contract Administration - organisation of weekly meetings, site visits, administration of contract during construction; organising final inspections.

Expert Engineering Opinion - provision of specialist advice for legal proceedings.

Infrastructure Servicing Report - preliminary investigation on the existing infrastructure services which can be accompanied by cost estimate.

Stormwater Drainage Strategy

TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT ENGINEERING:-

Transport Impact Assessment / Statement - a document prepared in accordance with guidelines published by West Australian Planning Commission to determine the impact of the proposed development on the surrounding network.

Traffic and Transport Study - a study of a particular project that is custom tailored to suit a particular requirement of a client.

Parking Study - a study of a particular project that is custom tailored to suit a particular requirement of a client, usually involving a detailed survey.

Traffic Engineering Report - a custom tailored report addressing traffic engineering issues for a particular project.

Road Safety Audit - audit and reporting prepared in accordance with Main Roads WA and IPWEA guidelines.

Modelling - conducted with one of our microscopic or mesoscopic modelling tools. A modelling report is prepared to detail the findings of modelling process.
