Galatians 6:9 ESV
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Paul penned these words 2,000 years ago, but they have never been more imperative than they are in our world today. There is a raging battle not to grow weary, tired, exhausted, and just DONE with the new way of life that began in March 2020! Of course life was challenging before 2020, but this year has brought to us things we have never seen, experiences we have not experienced, and a whole new understanding of what it means to be free. It seems to be a season we have not known before: a feeling of bondage and confinement, a desire to shake loose from something that holds us uncomfortably tight. It is a place and a feeling we have not experienced before. Most of us would say we are done with 2020. Think about this: What if things do not change? What if this is the new way of living on earth? I sure hope not, but lets say it is so. How do we manage? I believe this divine Word was given for times such as these. Life is not easy…(cont’d on next page)
