PASTOR’S CORNER
The month of June starts a new Conference Year & Fiscal Year for John Wesley Church We thank God for all that He has allowed us to do since June of 2023 Our God is truly a God of new beginnings As we start this new chapter in the life of John Wesley, I am encouraging our congregation in the following ways:
Let's be more consistent in attendance of our in-person morning worship
Let's be more intentional about growing in our spiritual lives through Bible Study & Prayer Meeting
Let's be more supportive of our various ministries and their programming/events
As we embrace the opportunity for a new beginning, I invite you to pray this prayer with me:
Dear Lord, we thank you for your grace and mercy that covers our lives. We thank you also for leading us to a faith community called John Wesley We pray for our church, its leadership, and its members As we plan for the future of our church, give us: the courage to dream big, the innovation to think differently, the determination to serve others, the capacity to think outside our ego and personal preferences, the reflection to learn from the past, the love to be kind, a mind to be positive, and the strength to move forward. Lord, we desire to grow in You. So, lead us to grow spiritually, in our faith, and in our ministry. In Jesus name. Amen.
