We have always emphasized quality and integrity - but with the ESG report, we have given ourselves the opportunity to pause, put into words what we do, and figure out how we can do it even better - Charlotte & Henrik, Owners
PREFACE
At FirmagaverOnline A/S, we have been helping companies spread joy and recognition since 1999 – through company gifts that combine quality, thoughtfulness, and personal service. With strong roots in Danish business, we have built a company where mutual relationships and responsibility are core values in the way we do business.
This ESG report marks an important step in our ambition to take greater responsibility – both for the world we are part of and for the people we work with. This is the first time we have compiled our environmental, social, and governance initiatives in a single report.
For us, ESG is not about following a trend. It is about highlighting and further developing the responsibility we already take – for example, when we choose

environmentally friendly packaging, collaborate with manufacturers, and work towards more sustainable gift concepts.
We see this report as an important tool for strengthening transparency, setting direction, and maintaining our ambition to deliver value with care – to our customers, our employees, and the community we are part of.
The report is also an open invitation to dialogue, collaboration, and development. We look forward to taking the next step together with our customers and partners.
Thank you for reading.
Charlotte Obel Co-owner
FirmagaverOnline A/S is a Danish familyowned company that has been specializing in this field since 1999. With more than 650,000 gifts delivered over the past 10 years, we are the leading supplier of delicious company gifts made with quality and care. Over 99% of our sales are B2B, and we combine user-friendly e-commerce with personal service and direct contact. Customers meet us not only online, but also as dedicated advisors who do everything to meet individual wishes and deadlinesand we take pride in ensuring that what we agree to is what we deliver.
Flexible operation with social commitment
The company is managed and run on a daily basis by Charlotte and Henrik, who are at the forefront of the day-to-day work with both operations and development. As a seasonal business, we have chosen a business model where, instead of having permanent employees, we purchase hours from external partners – so we can focus on our core tasks and ensure professional, flexible, and scalable operations all year round.
During the peak seasons – Easter and especially Christmas – the team is expanded with seasonal employees, several of whom have been with us for several years. In addition, temporary staff are brought in as needed.
We have our own packing facility and warehouse, and produce all company gifts on an order basis. This means that we have full control over both logistics and quality –and can offer competitive prices without costly intermediaries. Our business model with our own products means that we deliver unique gift experiences with substance and durability.
Sustainability as part of everyday life
Our range consists primarily of chocolate, wine, beer, liquorice and other delicacies, which are carefully selected in Europe and, of course, Denmark. We set high standards for taste, quality and responsibility – and work primarily with suppliers who are committed
to CO2 neutrality. The packaging is produced as close to Denmark as possible and is designed with a focus on longevity and reuse. We believe that the best sustainability is found in gift solutions that can be used again and again.
A passion for quality and good taste
We work according to the principle of Recycle – Reuse – Reduce, and have a mindset where sustainability is not a one-time investment, but an ongoing journey. This applies to our choice of products, logistics, partners, and our social engagement.
We have a great passion for both chocolate and wine, which also form a significant part of our range – along with beer, liquorice and other carefully selected delicacies from Europe and Denmark.
We select our product range ourselves and are often out looking for just the right products that make sense for our customers – and that we ourselves would be happy to give, eat or drink. We only buy products that we can vouch for and that meet our requirements for taste, quality and responsibility.
At FirmagaverOnline, we combine structure and scalability with warmth and presence. We solve complex gift arrangements, but we do it with heart. Many talk about good service – we practice it. Our reviews on Trustpilot speak for themselves. In short: What we agree on is what we do.
We still strive – as we have done since the beginning – for the best possible value for money. And we believe that responsibility and business acumen go hand in hand when it comes to creating gifts that make an impression.
VISION, MISSION & VALUES
Vision
We want to be the preferred supplier of tasty company gifts in Denmark – not only in terms of our range and service, but also in terms of the difference we make. Our vision is to create gifts that delight both the recipient and the conscience.
We believe that consideration and responsibility should be evident at every stage – from product selection to customer
Mission
Our mission is to provide quality gifts to companies that want to recognize their employees and partners with substance and thoughtfulness. We do this through a digital and efficient business model with personal advice, our own packaging production, and great flexibility.
We are constantly working to integrate sustainable choices throughout our value chain – environmentally, socially, and economically.
Values
We are a company with roots in integrity and professional pride, which is reflected in our three core values:
Credibility
What we agree on is what we do. Customers can count on us. All the way from order to delivery.
Flexibility
We adapt to the customer's needs – for both small and large tasks.
Our structure makes us fast, solution-oriented, and attentive.
Responsibility
We take responsibility for people and materials. This applies to our social commitment, our choice of partners, and our ambition to think in terms of reuse, recycling, and long-term value.
OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE SDG'S
At FirmagaverOnline, we want to actively contribute to more sustainable development – both through the products we sell, the way we do business, and the choices we make every day. We do not work with all of the global goals, but have selected the goals that make the most sense for us to prioritize, where we can really make a difference.
We have a particular focus on the following goals:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
We believe that people thrive best in safe and flexible environments. We embrace diversity – both professionally and personally – and we actively strive to create a working environment with clear boundaries, mutual respect, and a genuine balance between tasks and human needs.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
We are deeply committed to inclusiveness and social responsibility. That is why we offer internships and employment to young people and people with special challenges, among others. This creates meaning for them – and value for us. During busy periods, we also offer flexible job opportunities, where temporary workers can expect a safe environment and orderly conditions.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
We prioritize goods that are produced under proper conditions and that meet high standards of quality and durability. Our packaging is designed with recycling in mind, and we work according to the principle of Recycle – Reuse – Reduce. By producing the gifts in our own warehouse and skipping the middleman, we also reduce unnecessary transport and waste of resources.
SDG 13: Climate Action
We take responsibility for our climate footprint and are constantly working to make more sustainable choices in our everyday lives. Through awareness and small adjustments, we want to reduce our consumption of resources and unnecessary impact on the environment. We believe that even smaller players can make a difference – and we see this as a natural part of running a responsible business.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
We believe that we can achieve the greatest impact through collaboration. This applies to our dialogue with our suppliers, where we set requirements for quality and ethics. It applies to customers who demand more sustainable solutions. And it applies to our choice of partners, where we work together to achieve our goals.

ENVIRONMENTALE
At FirmagaverOnline A/S we work hard to reduce our environmental footprint –without compromising on quality, function, or experience. As a company with our own warehouse and packaging facility, we are able to take responsibility for the entire process, from purchasing goods to finished gifts – and this is precisely where we focus our efforts.
We incorporate sustainability into our products, packaging, and logistics. Our range consists primarily of chocolate and long-life delicacies such as wine, chocolate, licorice, and specialties, which we carefully select with an eye for both taste and responsible production. Where possible, we prioritize organic and European-produced goods that meet our requirements for quality and proper conditions.
We use district heating as our heating source and currently have T5 and T8 fluorescent lighting in our warehouse and office. A transition to LED lighting is considered economically viable for these areas in particular, with an expected annual saving of approximately 1,700 kWh. Our total energy consumption in 2024 will be 27.45 MWh, of which 82.1% will come from renewable energy sources.
Thoughtful packaging and recycling in practice
A key element of our environmental efforts is packaging. We produce our own gift boxes and wrapping paper and set requirements for both durability and choice of materials.
We always choose organic or biodegradable materials whenever possible. Our goal is that packaging should not end up as waste, but as something that can be reused and add value in the home. Our goal is that packaging should not end up as waste, but as something that can be reused and add value in the home. That is why we
work according to the principle of Recycle – Reuse – Reduce, and design gift wrapping that can subsequently be used as storage boxes, gift baskets, or decorative elements.
We also reuse virtually all the packaging we receive – both as whole cardboard boxes and as filling material. When we send orders in used boxes, we clearly label them with the words “Sorry, I'm used” to explain our resource-conscious approach. This is a conscious choice that has both an economic advantage and reduces the amount of waste.
Efficient operation and responsible transport Since we produce all gifts in our own warehouse, we avoid unnecessary repackaging, extra transport and waste. This allows us to optimize packaging processes and manage resource consumption efficiently - for example, by limiting plastic and choosing more recyclable materials. We have an ongoing focus on reducing plastic waste in packaging and have therefore replaced materials over time to ensure more environmentally friendly solutions.
We do not have company cars, but use electric cars for necessary business-related errands. Transportation to and from the company is not yet included in our overall climate footprint, but it is an area we are focusing on and continuously investigating opportunities for improvement.
We also want to engage in dialogue with the transport companies we work with –not only about price and delivery times, but also about the responsible handling of both goods and employees. It is important to us that the entire value chain reflects the values we ourselves operate by.
We are a family-owned business with big ambitions to do everything right - for our customers, for the environment, and for the people we work with - Charlotte, Co-owner
S SOCIAL
We believe that people grow in a safe environment. When we lift together, we not only get a stronger company – we also make a difference in everyday life - Charlotte, Co-owner
At FirmagaverOnline A/S we see people as our most important resource. This applies to the customers we serve, the suppliers we work with, and, not least, the people who help us pack and send gifts with care and quality every day.
Social engagement is a big part of our everyday life. We create a work environment where there is room for diversity and where each individual can feel welcomed and recognized for their strengths. It is important to us that the framework can be adapted to different needs so that everyone has the opportunity to contribute in a way that makes sense for both the employee and the company.
Our industry is highly seasonal, which is why we have chosen to organize ourselves with flexible staffing. This means that during busy periods, we expand the team with seasonal employees and temporary staff, while during other periods we work in a smaller team. This flexibility allows us to create a stable core while welcoming new talent when the tasks require it.
Regardless of the size of the team, the starting point is the same: we want a team that works with commitment and respect for each other. This gives us the best foundation for providing the best service to our customers.
All in all, we strive to create a working community where trust, respect, and inclusiveness are central. We believe that when people thrive, it creates value for both the individual and the company as a whole.
Inclusiveness and social responsibility are an important part of our work. We offer internships and job opportunities to young people and people with special challenges. During busy periods, we also create flexible jobs with a secure framework and orderly
conditions. This is an effort we are proud of – and which creates value for both the individual and us as a company.
Our working environment is characterized by closeness, flexibility, and respect. We emphasize well-being, clear frameworks, and the opportunity to take responsibility. We believe that a secure and stable working life makes a difference to the individual and has a positive impact on our service and quality.
For us, social responsibility is also about the way we treat our customers and partners. We prioritize personal contact, we follow up, and we listen – because relationships matter. The same applies to our choice of suppliers, where we value long-term partnerships, mutual trust, and responsibility.
It is important for us to contribute where it provides the greatest possible value and makes the biggest difference – regardless of whether it is small or large. Among other things, we support a girl through Plan Børnefonden so that she can have better opportunities for schooling and a better future. We have also decided to donate chocolate every year for Easter and Christmas parties for all homeless people in East Jutland.
We strive to create a company where people are seen and taken seriously – and where you are not just a number in the system, but an important part of the community. This applies both internally and externally, and it is a value we hold on to, no matter how much we grow.
GOVERNANCEG
FirmagaverOnline A/S is an ownermanaged companywhere decision-making processes are short and accountability is a natural part of everyday life. The management and the faces that customers and partners see are the company's two owners, Charlotte and Henrik, who work closely together to determine both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
This close anchoring ensures not only high agility and efficiency, but also consistency in values and decisions. The company has a flat organizational structure, where management is about proximity, trust, and freedom with responsibility.
We have a professional board of directors consisting of one woman and two men who act as sparring partners and contribute to the company's development with strategic insight and external experience.
Trust, well-being, and responsible operation
We believe that good management starts with transparency and presence. At our company, all employees are close to the decisions – and everyone is involved in finding solutions when the need arises. This creates trust and ownership, even during busy seasons when our team is expanded with temporary staff and interns.
It is important for us to create a free framework where there is room for diversity.
We emphasize creating a safe and clear framework where tasks and expectations are aligned and where there is room for both responsibility and flexibility.
We have a strong work ethic and a naturally fast pace – but we never compromise on job satisfaction or well-being. It is a priority for us to ensure the right working conditions for everyone, regardless of background and function.
Responsible operation and integrity
We work professionally with risk management and planning. We closely monitor our supply chain, storage capacity, and seasonal fluctuations, and we have built systems that ensure an overview of finances, delivery times, and customer satisfaction.
In addition, we have established procedures for data security, backup, and handling of personal information in accordance with applicable legislation (GDPR).
We see responsible management as more than just an internal matter. It is also about doing business with integrity – towards customers, partners and society. That is why we are open in our communication, honest in our promises and uncompromising when it comes to quality and keeping our word.
ESG KEY FIGURES
Asanorder-producingcompanywithourownpackagingfacility andwarehouse, weareabletocloselymonitormanyofourESG activities–bothhuman,environmental,andbusiness-related. Weareconstantlyworkingtoimproveourdocumentationofour efforts and make our data more accessible and measurable.
This section presents selected key figures that provide an overview of our current status and development in the areas of climate and environment (E), social conditions (S), and governance (G). The figures should not be seen as final targets, but as benchmarks in a process where we are gradually strengthening our sustainability work – both in practice and in reporting.
The key figures for the accounting period 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024 provide us with insight, our customers with transparency, and the entire company with a common direction. We see this as an important foundation for prioritizing and improving, step by step.

Calculation practices
This ESG report is based on the data and information that we, as a small business, have had access to through internal systems, external partners, and suppliers. Environmental data has been calculated based on our consumption of electricity and heating in our warehouse and office, and converted to CO2e using the Climate Compass, which follows the guidelines of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol).
In accordance with the GHG Protocol, electricity consumption (scope 2) is calculated both location-based (based on Danish average figures for electricity production) and market-based (taking into account any purchases of green certificates or guarantees of origin, if available). Scope 1 is not included for our company, as we do not use our own means of transport or energy sources with direct emissions.
Scope calculation
In working on our first ESG report, we have focused particularly on mapping the data that is most relevant and accessible to us. We have chosen to limit the climate account to scope 2 and the few indirect emissions we have insight into. This gives us a realistic basis for future follow-up and improvements.
Scope 3
We are aware that the largest part of our total climate footprint is likely to be in scope 3 – for example, in the production of goods and packaging, as well as transport from suppliers. These are areas where we currently have limited influence and access to data. In the coming years, we will work to gain a better overview and dialogue with suppliers in order to strengthen data collection and collaboration.
This report has not been verified by an external party. We have endeavored to ensure accurate information and transparent calculations, but reserve the right to make corrections for any inaccuracies. The report should be read as a first step in an ongoing effort to make our responsibility visible and measurable – and we will continue to develop methods and data quality in line with experience and resources.
OUR NEXT STEP
This ESG report marks the beginning of a more systematic approach to sustainability at FirmagaverOnline A/S. We have always been mindful of sustainability in our business – in our products, in our contact with customers, and in the way we run the company. We will continue to work on improving, and we are now doing so by setting specific goals and following up on them to make our efforts more visible and long-term.
In the environmental area, as part of our ESG work, we have reviewed our energy consumption and identified opportunities for optimization. We rent our premises and therefore have limited influence on the building's installations, but heating is provided by district heating from the local heating plant, and we reduce the heating in unused rooms outside the season. An energy review has shown that it would be profitable to replace fluorescent lighting with LED lighting in the warehouse, packing area, and office, while rooms without daily activity will not be replaced at this time.
On the sociale side, we want to expand our commitment to inclusive employment. We already have a close collaboration with Odder Municipality, and our goal is to offer at least two internships annually to young or vulnerable people who need a safe place to develop. In addition, we will conduct an informal well-being survey among our employees and use their input to improve the working day. We also plan to hold an annual team briefing on sustainability and our values.
When it comes to governance, we want to strengthen our data base and introduce a simple, annual structure for collecting ESG data. We will also formulate a short policy on our social responsibility and handling of interns and temporary staff, which can serve as an internal tool and basis for external dialogue. Finally, we will review our handling of customer data and ensure that our GDPR practices continue to comply with legislation and our own accountability requirements.
We see these goals as our next step – not because we have to be perfect, but because we want to be conscious and proactive. With small, concrete actions, we can create value for people, the environment and business.
