The best routes for families are well maintained with a modest gradient. For example, the Thaya River Bike Trail in Waldviertel (JUFA Hotel Waldviertel***), where you can rack up the kilometres on former railway lines. If you would like to explore the Mur River Bike Trail from Salzburg all the way to south Styria, you should bike from one JUFA Hotel to the next. A total of seven are located along the trail. Young cyclists

Our motto “Happy together” stresses our focus on joy and being part of a “we”. We want to bring people together and leave behind a footprint that is as small and as positive as it can be.

What does sustainability mean to you?

Sustainability means that we think of the future every step of the way and follow an innovative path. Careful handling of natural resources is not a quick-lived trend. It is deeply anchored in our philosophy. For example, 13 years ago we opened the first passive house hotel in Austria, JUFA Hotel Bleiburg/Pliberk*** in Carinthia.

The impressive cathedral in Gurk is a powerful place that is unparalleled. Right next to it in the Tulsi Ayurveda Centre of JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk****, historic church walls meet Ayurveda, the Indian art of healing.

An experienced team of Indian therapists led by director Preeti Hoffmann and Ayurveda practitioner Siddiq Salahudeen accompany guests on their way to holistic health. Delicious Ayurvedic cuisine, yoga sessions and authentic treatments are included.
