Ringing In A New Year Of Joy and Prosperity What a spectacular year 2019 turned out to be! John’s Island celebrated its 50th Birthday in style, with a highly anticipated and very well attended blowout celebration. Members are still raving about the glitz and glamour of the evening, sharing their favorite highlights from the anniversary year, along with recounting fond memories from the past decades of fun-filled times. Reconnecting with friends and enjoying an incredible array of dining, drinks, and music - what a night it was toasting to a half-century. The Club continues their legacy of outstanding food, service and facilities while staying current, and we cannot wait to see what the next 50 years bring to John’s Island. We are pleased to have had another stellar year of sales, with 2019 being our second best year to date. The final year of the decade kicked off with heightened activity in entry-level priced properties, which sparked a rush of movement in the middle-market real estate. We witnessed several owners upgrade and, while our year concluded with strength across the board, we saw that it was especially active in the high end of the market. By the second quarter of last year, we were setting records in ‘units sold’ and finished with a bang.
