There is an old, Jewish tradition that I deeply revere. It is the Ethical Will. In my mind, the Ethical Will is a love letter to loved ones wherein personal values, beliefs, blessings and advice is shared.

In mine, which is an ongoing work in progress, I share what I have learned, why I am grateful for everything and my hopes for the future. I also remind my son, Max, of my Jewish journey. I explain how and when my priorities shifted and why he “should not sweat the small stuff ”.
