MESSAGE FROM DOMINICA PUBLIC SERVICE UNION (DPSU) Dear Comrade, Please accept on behalf of the Dominica Public Service Union (DPSU) and the Caribbean Public Service Association (CPSA) our best wishes to the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) for your upcoming Annual General Meeting. In light of the current global situation which impacts every country and organization, we trust that the membership of the JCSA will deeply reflect on the theme which has been chosen for this year's conference. Trade unions should remain focused on their aims and objectives without wavering for a moment when advocating for the wellbeing of employees. Moving from survival to thriving requires vigorous action than what is normally anticipated. There are indeed many events and activities which we are not able to prevent. Our response however matters a lot. The leadership which is required to set policies and to guide the general membership is lacking in some unions. This is not the case with the JCSA. Over the years we have witnessed the emergence of leaders within your organization who have selflessly stood tall in crafting and implementing responses to the many challenges with which the union is confronted. May the Almighty God continue to provide wisdom and guidance to you and your executive as you seek to improve the livelihood of not only your members and public officers but of all Jamaicans in general.
