NIS Hosts Community Iftar for Families and Staff

NIS Parent Academy: “Assessments through the KHDA Framework”

We would like to thank all the parents who attended our NIS Parent Academy workshop on “Assessments throughtheKHDAFramework.“

Through this workshop, our parents were able to learn more about the different assessments we do and how theycanbestsupporttheirchildren.

At Nibras International School, we make sure to collaborate with parents to create a well-rounded educationexperienceforourstudents.

We hope to see more parents at our next NIS Parent Academyworkshop.

Celebrating Francophonie Day at NIS

To celebrate Francophonie Day at NIS, students donned their favorite French attire, indulged in various French delights, and created projects featuring traditional landmarksinFrance.

Itwasafundayasourstudentsgottolearnmoreabout Frenchcultureinafunandcreativeway.

There were also games and trivia activities that students gottoparticipateinandenjoy.

We would like to thank our French teachers and Art teachersforalltheirhardworkinputtingontheevent.

NIS Holds First-Ever TEDx - Nibras International School Youth Event

Nibras International School hosted its first-ever TEDx Event with the theme of “Looking Inward, Facing Forward.”

As part of their learning in English class, five high school students were selected to deliver talks about various topics that they were interested in. The TEDx event was an opportunity for our students to talk about their passions, culture, identity, and how they relate to the future.

It was a proud moment for everyone as our students didanamazingjob.Congratulations,students!

NIS Art Students Receive Awards in Two Local Art Competitions

Congratulations to the following students for winning the HeritageExpressDrawingcompetition:

Our students also participated in the “Brushstrokes of Change” Art Competition. In partnership with DIFC, the Dynowish Foundation invited children from ISP schools in Dubai to participate in this art competition. We are happy to announce that Sarah E., a Grade 10 student, received the 2nd Place awardforherpieceon“BinaryRealities.”

Secondary Celebrates Spirit Week

Spirit week is an important event at most high schools in the U.S., and at Nibras International School, we celebrate Spirit Week to foster a sense of pride and unityinourschoolcommunity

To kick off Secondary Spirit Week, the students wore sports jerseys and uniforms of their favorite sports personalities to school. There were also football matches during the day to help encourage inclusivity andboostthemoraleofthestudents.

On the second day, the students arrived at school wearingTropicalClothes.

Special dress up days are a fun way to promote school spirit

We are happy to see our students enjoy this special week so much, and use it as an opportunity to connect witheachother.

Book Character Day in NIS Elementary Department

Our Elementary Department hosted a Book Character Day. It was an opportunity for our students to come to schooldressedupliketheirfavoritebookcharacters.

It was wonderful to see our students dressed up as princesses,superheroes,andfairytalecharacters

Our teachers and the Elementary leadership team also joinedinonthefun.

Re-Enrollment for 2024 - 2025 Academic Year is Now Open

The re-enrollment registration for the 2024 - 2025 academicyearforourexistingfamiliesisnowopen.

As the demand for places at our school grows, it is evident that our community recognizes the exceptional education we offer and the learning environment that we create to ensure that children love coming to school everyday.

We understand that plans for next year are sometimes dependent on factors outside your control, but for us to plan ahead, we kindly request families to inform us of theirintentionsasearlyaspossible.

Details regarding the re-enrollment process have been shared with families by their registered email. Register your intention now to secure your child’s place for September.
