Community Coffee Morning with Community Coffee Morning with
Mr. Senior and SLT Mr. Senior and SLT
At Hamilton, we are always striving to get better, and one of the ways we do this is by listening to our parents We were excited to host our first Community Coffee Morning of the semester, and we plan to hold more informal events like this in the future. These gatherings allow us to strengthen our relationship with our families and gather valuable feedback to improve our school community.
Mr. Senior started by recapping all the major developments that have taken place so far. Highlights included the upgrade of the football pitch astroturf, and the new cafeteria, reminding the parents to volunteer for our upcoming production, and recalling students' active engagement in the International Learning Opportunities (ILOS).
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for open communication between parents, the school leadership team, and staff. Parents were able to share feedback directly with the leadership team.
We are grateful to all the parents who joined us, as their participation is vital in making Hamilton a vibrant and successful learning environment. We look forward to continuing this partnership and to many more opportunities for collaboration in the future. T

What an exciting day for our KG1 students at Kidzmondo.
Our little learners had a blast exploring different roles in our community, from doctors to firefighters, and more. They got to dress up and act out these important roles, bringing our unit on community to life in such a fun and interactive way.
It was a wonderful hands-on experience that sparked their imagination and teamwork skills. We can't wait to see what they'll discover next!

Both our Under 8's and Under 9's teams played with great determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. With impressive performances, both teams secured resounding victories, earning bronze medals for all members of the squads
Grade 4 and 5 Girls Football Teams Grade 4 and 5 Girls Football Teams Shine at Annual Competition Shine at Annual Competition
The Grade 4 and 5 football teams recently participated in their annual football competition, held at GEMS Wellington School. Both teams played a series of closely contested matches, with many results decided by the narrowest of margins. The Grade 4 team, however, delivered an impressive 4-0 victory in one of their games. While the Grade 5s won their final match, they were unfortunately unable to progress to the semifinals. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that provided many of the girls with their first taste of competitive football.
Well done, girls, for your determination and team spirit!
Grade 4 and Grade 5 Boys Shine in Football Grade 4 and Grade 5 Boys Shine in Football
The Grade 4 and Grade 5 boys completed a busy football period for Hamilton, traveling to GEMS Wellington School for the annual QPPSSA Boys Football Competition on Wednesday, December 4th.
A tough opening match against Oryx saw us take an early lead, but two quick strikes from Oryx secured their win. Next up were Mesaieed, who were comfortably defeated 2-0, setting up a crucial match against Kings College, Doha. Despite a strong effort, the boys narrowly lost 2-1 after working hard to get back into the game. Kings College went on to finish as runners-up to Oryx in the final. The final match saw a dominant 4-0 victory against Pearling School. While the squad was pleased with their overall performance, they were disappointed not to progress to the semi-finals.
Our Grade 5 boys had an impressive day of football at GEMS, led by captain Zain from 5JS.
The team won their first three matches, but faced a tough loss to Kings College in their fourth game. They drew their final match against Pearling. Despite not qualifying due to results in other groups, there were standout performances from Khalifa, Ahmed, Blake, and Zak, with assists from Abe, Dominic, and Zain. We’re excited for their next challenge at the QPPSSA games in January.
Great job, boys!
A big thank you to all the parents that came along to support the boys, and to all those who have supported their children in the recent football competitions at Hamilton and at GEMS. We certainly heard you!
On Tuesday morning, we held a successful Parent Coffee Morning focused on two key educational applications: TTRockstars and Reading Eggs. The session aimed to provide parents with a deeper understanding of how these tools support their children’s learning and development. During the morning, parents were introduced to the purpose of each application and how they help students improve essential skills.
TTRockstars is designed to boost times tables knowledge, while Reading Eggs helps enhance reading and comprehension abilities. Parents were guided through the different features of the apps and shown specific games and activities that their children should be using to make progress in these areas.
In addition, we shared various ways dren at home while using these applicatio approach to learning both at school and at home. We thank all the parents who attended and look forward to seeing the continued progress of our students with these valuable tools!

Our students recently returned to the farm for the second visit of the Farm Your Country program, organized by the Al Faisal Foundation. This hands-on experience allowed them to put their learning into action, and they were excited to see the impressive progress of the plants they had worked on during their first visit. During this session, students learned valuable new techniques, such as making ties to support plant growth. Under the expert guidance of the engineer, they not only nurtured the crops but also developed essential life skills like teamwork, problemsolving, and patience.
We are proud to witness their enthusiasm grow alongside the plants, as they continue to cultivate both their knowledge and character

Feed a Friend: A Heartwarming Local Initiative Supported
by Our Students
At our school, we are always proud to see our students making a difference in the community. One such inspiring effort is the Feed a Friend initiative, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to providing a steady, reliable supply of food to those in need right here in our local area.
In September, Feed a Friend launched their Community Fridge initiative, an innovative project aimed at helping those facing food insecurity. We are particularly proud to highlight the involvement of one of our own students, Lilyana Hailes from 3JR, along with her mother, Roxy Hailes. Known as the ‘Fridge Fairies,’ Lilyana and Roxy have been instrumental in supporting this important cause Their hard work and dedication have recently caught the attention of local media, with Lilyana and Roxy being interviewed by Qatar Living. We encourage you to watch the inspiring interview to learn more about their efforts and the impact of the Community Fridge initiative
Qatar now hosts over 45 community fridges, which are stocked regularly, often multiple times a week. Generously donated by locals, these fridges are open to any Fridge Fairy who wishes to contribute food.
A recommended shopping list is available on their website. The closest fridge to our school is the here. Al Thumama Fridge
All the fridges can be found in google maps when you search for ‘community fridge’ They have over 350 volunteer Fridge Fairies who actively refill the fridges and identify new ones each week

Supporting Newborns in Need: A Call for
School Involvement
We are excited to share an inspiring new initiative from Feed a Friend that aims to provide essential support to newborns in need The organization has launched the Welcome Baby Boxes program, designed to give every baby born into challenging circumstances a better start in life. The Welcome Baby Boxes will be distributed to mothers of newborns (0-2 months old) who meet specific criteria, such as having no working husband or earning less than 1500 QR per month after rent. Each family will undergo a thorough background check to ensure that the support reaches those who are most in need. Feed a Friend is working closely with hospitals to identify families who require assistance, and they are now reaching out to schools for support.
