Makati Spor ts Club, mission in general, aims to offer a unique blend of business and leisure, making it an excellent venue for both professional networking and social engagement.

EASTER SUNDAY EASTER SUNDAY

It was a fun-filled day as the club celebrated the annual Easter Sunday event on April 20, 2025. Members and their kids were treated to a lively Disney show and sumptuous lunch. Much to their enjoyment, the kids also received different goodies from the club.

MOTHER’S DAY MOTHER’S DAY

To honor our loving mothers, the club held the Mother’s Day event on May 11, 2025 at the Zobel Dining Room.

Scrumptious Asian dishes were featured and photos booth/ photos were given to serve as souvenirs for the event.

50TH CLUB ANNIVERSARY 50TH CLUB ANNIVERSARY

The Makati Sports Club, Inc., which was established in 1975, held its Golden Anniversary last June 12, 2025.

The event started with a Fun Run, followed by the Turn-Over Ceremony led by Mr. Eduardo Francisco, President, and Atty. Simplicio Virtudazo Jr., Immediate Past President.

A grand lunch buffet was served to members and guests and different sports activities/matches were organized for the sports aficionados in the club.

Mr. Noel Cabangon, renowned singer and composer, performed on that day to spice up the event Additionally, one of the highlights of this special occasion was the recognition of past presidents, founders, and long–standing members.

RAFFLE DRAW RAFFLE DRAW

A raffle draw was also held simultaneously to celebrate the club’s 50 Anniversary. Ten lucky winners received cash prizes worth 50k each and Toyota Wigo and Toyota Corolla Cross were also given to two participants namely: Ms. Regina Evangelista and Mr. Emmanuel Mendoza.

FATHER’S DAY FATHER’S DAY

The Father’s Day celebration was held on June 15, 2025 at the Zobel Dining Room. Appetizing European cuisine was presented to the attendees and photos/photo booths were also provided to capture this memorable affair

The first Induction Ceremony for the Board Year 2025 - 2026 was held on June 20, 2025 at the Zobel Dining Room. Mr. Eduardo Francisco, MSCI President, and Ms. Jennifer Guerrero, Membership Committee Chairwoman, led the oath taking ceremony. Some directors and members of the Management Team also attended the event.

MSCI TOWN HALL MEETING MSCI TOWN

To promote transparency among the general membership, the Board of Directors invited all members for a Town Hall Meeting on June 18 and September 8 at the Ayala Banquet Hall to formally introduce the members of the Board and bare its short term and long term plans. The Board of Directors headed by Mr. Eduardo Francisco, MSCI President, also addressed members’ concerns from the previous board years and explained in detail the status of the current renovations being done inside the club.

As part of the MSCI Master Plan Committee, eminent architects Felino “Jun” Palafox, Carmelo “Meloy” Casas, and Architect Minnie and Rikka Villarosa presented their plans and designs for the club.

With the objective to leave an enduring legacy to the future generations, all architects focused on improving the sports pavilion which members deem as an immediate need and oncentrated on the club as a whole centering on the improvement of all club’s facilities.

EMPLOYEES’ SPORTS FEST EMPLOYEES’ SPORTS FEST

A zestful opening parade was held last July 7, 2025 to mark the beginning of the employees’ sports fest. Almost employees were exuberant as they cheered for their respective teams.

Peach, Blue Green, Gray, and Mint Green Teams rallied and supported the participants during the event. Furthermore, Mr. Ed Francisco, MSCI President, and Mr. Dennis Loyola, Sports Committee Chairman, gave the opening and closing remarks to motivate everyone to do their best this season.

At the end of the program, the Peach Team was awarded the Best Muse and Escort for this year ’ s sports fest.

The much anticipated soft opening and blessing of the Log Cabin was held last August 28 and September 8, 2025 respectively. Members were happy to see the outlet’s new look as, after several months of undergoing renovation, the Log Cabin is now emanating a cooler and contemporary vibe To the attendees' delight, the management gave a 50% discount on selected lunch dishes as a treat during the soft opening.

Directors, members, and employees also beamed as they relax and soak in the outlet’s new surroundings. Food and refreshments were served and video music were provided to perk up the event and entertain the diners at the facility’s blessing.

PACQUIAO - BARRIOS FIGHT PACQUIAO - BARRIOS FIGHT

Members and guests watched the Manny Pacquiao - Mario Barrios boxing match on July 20 (Manila Time) at the Bistro Lounge. Some held their breaths and some cheered while waiting for the much awaited come back of Manny Pacquiao after years of hiatus from boxing.

As part of the club’s goals to market MSCI as an events hub and to build up our banquet revenues, the management together with Membership Committee Chairwoman, Ms. Jennie Cinco - Guerrero, held the first wedding expo on July 30 at the Ayala Banquet Hall. Wedding coordinators and event organizers were invited to be part of the event so they can properly assess the club’s facilities and services.

GIVING OF DONATION GIVING OF DONATION

As part of the club's corporate social responsibility, the club gave financial assistance to the beneficiaries of our Golden Anniversary namely: St. Martin de Porres Parish Church and Health Care Program of the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco (SSSJB). Both organizations aim to use the money for the improvements of its church and members.

SAFE SPACES ACT SAFE SPACES ACT

To equip the employees with ample knowledge about Safe Spaces Act or R.A. 11313 “Bawal Bastos Law” and to educate them about their rights regarding harassment, the club held the Safe Spaces Act Seminar on September 3 & 5 at the Legaspi Function Room. The seminar was conducted by Atty. Judith Encarnacion and its objective is to address gender-based sexual harassment, both online and offline, in public spaces.
