Nicole’s journey began in the fall of 2017, when she decided to attend Idaho State as a first-generation college student pursuing a degree in management. “In choosing an area of study, management was by far the most intriguing. Not only does the career field teach you how to lead others, but it also fosters individual growth. It challenges you, by nature, to practice self-exploration and improvement,” said Milford. After interning at the 366th Medical Treatment Facility during the summer of 2019, she decided to pursue a second degree in healthcare administration as well. Growing up as a military dependent, Milford has lived in many different areas but has mostly resided in a small, rural military town in Idaho. She plans to have a career in the United States Air Force. “After graduating from Idaho State in December of 2020 with both a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, I enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration program here at Idaho State. Following the completion of my graduate degree in the fall of 2021, I plan to use my credentials to propel me into an officer role in the United States Air Force,
