To achieve this, she argues, there is a need to explore, as the LCGA case study does- “incremental innovation sustained over time that involves visitors in an ongoing participatory relationship with the museum” – by institutionalising experimentation in this way through our youngest visitors, there is potential to substantially shift the nature of wider audience engagement.13
