SCOIL MHUIRE KANTURK UPDATES
Louise Casey, Lana Dugdale, Jessica Cremin, Louise O’Brien and Sarah Archdeacon. Scoil Mhuire Badminton Team Well done to the under 16 girls badminton who were runners up to Waterford at the Badminton Munster Final. They defeated Kerry, Clar,e and Tipperary.
Fun run in Scoil Mhuire Kanturk Well done to all who participated in the Scoil Mhuire Fun Run 5k raising money for sports equipment and transport costs. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Chess Club in Scoil Mhuire Kanturk Scoil Mhuire’s Chess Team, competed in the first leg of their very first online chess tournament against over a dozen secondary schools across Ireland. SMK players were in an excellent position at the end of the first leg and look forward to the second leg next week.
Camera Club in Scoil Mhuire Kanturk Pictured here is Principal Denis Keating presenting the prize for best photograph in Scoil Mhuire’s February Camera Club competition to Luca Sheehy in 5th year. Luca received a €15 voucher for Yumm Café Kanturk. Luca’s winning photograph was entitled “5:25am” and was taken in Dingle. Congratulations Luca! This month’s Camera Club theme is ARCHITECTURE.
