FIRST STUDENT COUNCIL NOVEMBER 2023 The student population elected student council in the school in November. The first ever. The role of the council is to give the student a voice in the preparation and planning of activities of educational activities. We look forward to hearing more from the council as the year rolls on!

The Kids Go To Uni!
The pupils from 4th,5th & 6th class visited UCC on October 19th for a guided tour of the University. The children had a very enjoyable day on the university grounds , exploring the campus and many of the interesting buildings there , including the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, the Stone Corridor, the Main Quadrangle and the Crawford Observatory, The pupils were prenoted with certificates on their “Graduation” at the end of the tour and we hope that many of them will return in years to come and graduate once more!
BADMINTON BLITZ The boys and girls of the school took to the badminton courts in Banteer for the Blitz for the National Schools in the area. Well done to the boys and girls played well and enjoyed the day immensely. They did the school proud. The boys team were Caolain O’Leary, Eoghan Philpott, Ben Duggan and Eoghan Golden. The girls team members were Lara Forde, Lisa Murphy, Georgina Tarrant and Alice Golden. Issue 104 December 22nd, 2023
