Choral Society Goes Nationwide

Duhallow Choral Society would like to thank Deputy Michael Moynihan, The Ceann Comhairle, Seán Ó Fearghaí and Christina Lynch, staff of Leinster House for the privilege of performing at the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Houses of the Oireachtas on the 7th of December.

Duhallow Choral Society are also thrilled to share the exciting news that we appeared in an episode of Nationwide on the 13th of December. Many thanks to Zainab Boladale & Martin from RTE.

We had a successful season of Christmas concerts in The Culturlann, Newmarket on the 1st of December and a joint Christmas concert with the Kerry Choral Union at St. Johns Church, Tralee on the 10th of December. The final concert of the season was our 2nd joint Christmas concert with the Kerry Choral Union at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kanturk on Sunday 17th December.

2024 is promising to be an exciting year ahead starting with St. Patricks Day mass in Kanturk, a concert with a string orchestra on Easter Week, a concert with a Brazilian celloist player to support Kanturk hospital on May 7th and we’ve received a special invitation by the diocese of Cloyne to perform at Knock Basilica on May 12th.

We are always open to new members, we start back on the 9th of January 2024, we very much welcome new members to train for our new season of music in Spring 2024.

We are particularly looking for male voices.
