Exactly for this purpose, the new mixing and dosing unit WAGNER PROTEC 2K (Fig. 1) was developed. It automatically determines the correct mixing ratio and thus guarantees the best possible coating quality. As only the exact amount of required material is mixed, you not only save time, but also material. In case of a longer interruption of work, it’s not necessary to flush the entire system, but only those parts that contain mixed material (mixing block, material hose, spray gun) – this also drastically lowers your solvent consumption. Two large hoppers and the large intake valves ensure a constant and reliable material supply. The WAGNER PROTEC 2K is also powerful even with high viscosity materials and large flow rate for high layer thicknesses. At the same time it’s extremely user-friendly, similar to a normal 1K piston pump.
