If you had to recommend one book to teachers, parents and students in the ISB community that would help support their overall wellbeing, what would it be?
Teachers:
"Choose Joy" by Sophie Cliffs

This book focuses on work-life balance and how to avoid burnout It includes insights and exercises on reducing stress and changing how you react to it, uncovering what really matters to you (and not what your family or society tells you should matter!), and developing new approaches to achieving your goals
Parents:
"Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?" by Dr. Julie Smith
Drawing on years of experience as a clinical psychologist, Dr Julie Smith shares all the skills you need to get through life's ups and downs Suitable for parents and teachers alike, you will find short bite-sized entries on managing anxiety, dealing with criticism, battling low mood, building self-confidence, finding motivation, and learning to forgive yourself Dr Julie has a large online presence and you can find many videos online of her work
Students:
"The Huge Bag of Worries" by Virginia Ironside
A reassuring picture book encouraging children to open up about their fears and anxieties to help manage their feelings. This book is a great tool to use as a spring board into important conversations with your child.
