GLOBAL WARMING AND THE END OF TIMES

Global Warming refers to long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns. These changes could definitely be natural, but since the 19th century, human activities have been the main driver of climate change. It mainly is due to the burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil and gas, producing gasses that trap carbon dioxide. heat.

Companies aren’t doing anything to help to reduce Global Warming for example:

• They send emissions from burning fuels used to heat buildings, emissions from cooking, and harmful gasses released via distribution and delivery vehicles.

• They also produce between %25 and %30 of Global Warming. 100 companies are responsible for more than %90 of global plastic waste, they waste over 7.6 billion tons of materials that can be used, that is what they produce and they don’t want to reduce it.

• Chemicals, detergents, food waste products, toxic sludge, and certain metals like lead, can all contribute to water pollution.

Causes of industrial pollution

Burning fossil fuels like oil, natural gas and petroleum; chemical solvents used in dyeing and tanning industries, untreated gas and the liquid waste being released into the environment, improper disposal of radioactive material are some of the main causes of industrial pollution.

Global Warming needs to be the #1 problem to solve in the planet we think this is because:

1. The temperature has risen approximately 2ºC just because of Global Warming; in fact, in 2021 global sea level set a new record high 97 mm due to it.

2. Global warming causes climate change, which represents a serious threat to life on Earth in the forms of widespread flooding and extreme weather.

3. Ice is melting worldwide, especially at the Earth’s poles. This includes mountain glaciers, ice sheets covering West Antarctica and Greenland, and Arctic Sea ice.

4. Rising temperatures are affecting wildlife and their habitats. Vanishing ice has challenged species such as the Adélie penguin in Antarctica, where some populations on the western peninsula have collapsed by 90 percent or more.

5. Precipitation (rain and snowfall) has increased across the globe, on average. Yet some regions are experiencing more severe droughts, increasing the risk of wildfires, lost crops, and drinking water shortages.

6. Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger. Floods and droughts will become more common. Large parts of the U.S., for example, face a higher risk of decades-long “megadroughts” by 2100

7. Ecosystems will continue to change: Some species will move farther north or become more successful; others, such as polar bears, won’t be able to adapt and could become extinct.

This is a very serious problem because if it continuous at this rate, by the year 2100 the planet will be 9.7ºC warmer than it is today. Also people could help by reducing transportation since it is the 18% of all CO2 emissions and road vehicles are 10% air transport is 5% and water transport is 3% therefore, we have thought of some ways we can reduce this. Decreasing road contamination for example; providing better public transportation for everyone so people are more convinced to use it. This means not making public transportation mandatory, but making it appealing so that the general expectation would be that the general public use it. Another way could be persuading companies to make electric cars more affordable since people would love to have electric cars but they’re just way too expensive. These are just a few ways we could think of, this obviously wouldn’t completely fix it but it would certainly stop it for quite a while. Did you know there are 1.446 billion cars in the world region and in Mexico there are 50.4 million motor vehicles in circulation? Obviously, this amount of cars contribute negatively to Global Warming.

Fast-fashion is currently one of the biggest causes of global warming because it uses a lot of cotton and because 60%of cloth is made with cotton it uses a lot of land. Land that is used to plant and grow over 200 million trees that are being cut and used a lot of water to make it. It uses over a trillion liters of water. A phrase that really inspired us is “Buy less and wear more”. Fast fashion pieces use environmentally costly materials like synthetic fabrics, which can create toxic waste during production that seeps into the local environment, hurting animals and people who live there. It’s estimated that the textiles industry produces over 1.2 billion tons of CO2 per year from manufacturing, processing and shipping —with the expectation that this will increase to nearly 3 trillion tons of CO2 by 2030! We can avoid fast fashion doing this Shop secondhand, Keep your clothes in great condition, Buy clothes that’ll last long term and look for transparency

We need to do something to stop all of this. We are going to start a campaign where we can persuade people and companies to have their own crops. They don’t have to be so big, just a little farm.

We need to do many things like:

• Sealing the roof

• Watering the crops constantly

Things we must have:

• A Fence

• Have quality soil

• Plants and seeds

We can do this things to help stop global warming

• Save energy at home

• Get around on foot, by bike or by public transport

• Consider your commuting

• Throw away less food

• Consume less, reuse, repair and recycle

• Change the type of energy in your home

• Switch to an electric vehicle

We need something to help right now!!!! Help us stop this horrible problem called Global Warming.

The Dark Side Of Social Media

The question of the influence of social networks has been widely debated in the theoretical field of human behavior. The ease of access to communication networks has had a behavioral impact on society, producing multiple circumstances from social improvements to social problems. However, these perspectives have not been adequately addressed. This essay consists of publicizing the effect of the use of social networks at the height of technological development in recent decades in our society. The situation of technological advance causes an attempt to infer in it, therefore society must organize the use of social networks because they mark and will mark changes in social relations will cause changes in social and cultural patterns, and these ultimately altering work patterns that reflect an economic impact.

Social networks are the common thread used mainly by the digital generation to access the interconnected world. These social networks have great potential for disseminating information and their use can be harmful, altering the way people act. In addition, access to the online market must be taken into account, to a large extent, thanks to the Internet, it has helped these social networks to become part of this business. Proof of this is that there are individuals whose job it is to be part of these multitudes of networks, but whose result of success will be reflected by the popularity of the user.

At present, it is very normal for the vast majority of young people and people between 35 and 70 years old (or more) to use technology as a natural part of relationships in their environment. These relationships are carried out through mobile devices, computers or any technological device that may have access to the Internet. The development of the Internet and the access to it to a vast majority of the world’s population has caused different channels of information transmission, that is where online contact networks appear. Online networks such as Messeguer, Whatsaap, Facebook or digital user forums and blogs cause this relational exchange and privacy vulnerability.

Access to the network is so fast and simple that the vulnerability of user information is contradicted. Many and many users who access the network offer personal data to be their users. However, there are users on the network who go far beyond giving private data, such as name, nationality or tax identification number, but rather interact with other users to ask for advice or advice on routine things, such as health issues, or advisory exposing at risk if the assessment provided is applied in our lives.

In the 21st century we are immersed in a new era of technology and technological advances, we are in an era called “The Digital Age”. Communication with the whole world is the same, where the receivers have the same information at the same moment of time regardless of where they reside.

This phenomenon brings with it effects for society that can be both positive and negative aspects, since differentiating whether these social networks are being put to good use or misuse is not always easy, the line of use is not so thick that the delimit perfectly, but on the contrary, sometimes the user could be misusing them and unconsciously.

The problem of misuse of social networks has several starting points, from an individual or collective perspective characterized in the social, as well as a more economic perspective based on how they affect them in the development of an economic activity.

Starting with the other problem of social networks and this time from a social point of view, social networks can affect the emotional health of the user. The habitual user tends to show through publications or talk through different chats about everything that makes him proud, sharing his life with the rest of the virtual society.

The trend in the network is precisely that, so the behavior is generalized, causing comparisons in living standards, with which users question themselves and compare their way of living with that of the rest of the community. The comparison can make the consumer of this virtual space fall into a vicious circle and that can lead to possible emotional problems if they are not controlled.

In a situation where the individual does not question that he spends more time than he should making use of these networks, preventing him from carrying out other types of activities is also evidence of their misuse.

Since its inception, human beings have always cooperated in a community to advance and evolve, and this principle is still valid today, since the reason why networks were created was none other than to connect and share ideas with people. that are separated by distance. At the moment when the use of focusing more on virtual relationships is higher than that of physical relationships, it is then when the user is immersed in a problem and the user begins to develop a feeling of social isolation.

As far as physical health is concerned, social networks can affect the creation and development of eating disorders. The large amount of information that exists in the network, causes the user to resort to nutritional methods that put their health at risk. The speed at which information spreads on the Internet plus the aggressive marketing practiced by some companies and users, in order to increase their income, make the most vulnerable users the main customer, putting their health at risk. Generalizing the idea of the social problems of networks, it is possible to distinguish some of the probable problems that social networks cause in users if they are used inappropriately, such as:

• Addiction to networks

• Loneliness

• Worsening of self-esteem

• Depression

• Irrational behaviors

In conclusion, the risks and dangers of social networks for children and adolescents (for adults as well) will always be there, avoiding and preventing them is a matter of common sense and good judgment, to avoid putting yourself in unnecessary risk situations by publishing a content or share the minute by minute of their lives, in forgetting that there is a world outside the networks. Parents should bother and spend time learning about how the social networks that their children use or can use work, know the risks, and be prepared to avoid them before they occur and teach them not to be victims of them. Also, and no less important, so that they teach their children to use social networks (and the Internet) responsibly and with respect towards others.
