Every Day INSPIRATION
from 2022 Annual Report
This past year was one of growth and innovation for Inspira Health. We still continued to face challenges related to COVID, but we also began to emerge from the pandemic with a renewed sense of optimism.

Last year, our state-of-the-art hospitals celebrated the addition of a number of advanced procedures and technologies in cardiology, neurology, spinal surgery, oncology, physical therapy and more. We continued to deliver high-quality care to the residents of South Jersey. With patient safety always at the forefront of our minds, our work in 2022 demonstrated the principles of high reliability that we reach toward, day in and day out.
While our main goal is to continue providing high-quality care and support to our community, Inspira remains committed to our staff’s well-being, safety and personal growth. We welcomed a number of new staff members in 2022, including Dr. Tony Reed, our SVP, chief quality and safety officer, who is focused on achieving and expanding Inspira’s commitment to patient safety, quality and excellence. We also saw tremendous growth in our residency program with the implementation of six new residency tracks.
In order to serve even more members of our South Jersey community, we continued to expand services and staffing resources in our existing facilities, and also acquired a number of new locations. The acquisition of Salem Medical Center, an affiliate of Inspira Health, was perhaps the most significant addition to our growing network. This partnership allows us to serve the residents of Salem County with necessary health care resources and services that are both outstanding and close to home.
Salem Medical Center, an affiliate of Inspira Health, wasn’t the only addition to our locations in 2022. We also introduced a number of EMS locations, an endoscopy center at Vineland, a sleep center at Woolwich, a primary care location in Upper Deerfield and a LIFE center in Williamstown. And we’re continuing to broaden our reach as we work toward opening a new health center in Deptford and redeveloping our existing health center in Woodbury.
It’s important to note that none of this is meaningful if it doesn’t meet the needs of those we serve. To that end, our community impact initiatives helped deliver care to those who need it most through Community Health Workers, mobile van screenings and the Food Farmacy+. In 2022, we also conducted a Community Health Needs Assessment, which helped identify critical health care barriers in our region and gave us direction for our community focus points for 2023 and beyond.
There were many more milestones to recognize from the past year, and much to look forward to in 2023, when we will be celebrating 10 years of service in South Jersey as Inspira Health. I want to thank our entire Inspira family for their professionalism, compassion, expertise and dedication this year. I also want to thank our patients for entrusting Inspira with your, and your families’, care.
