PHILANTHROPY Inspiring

Inspira Health relies on the Foundation to fund projects that improve the care we provide to residents of South Jersey. Here’s what the Inspira Health Foundation focused on in 2022.

All Heart Campaign

In 2022, the Foundation launched the All Heart campaign, a network-wide effort to expand Inspira Health’s cardiology services and provide a highquality patient experience to all South Jersey residents. Our cardiac enhancement strategy involves new construction, facility upgrades and the latest medical equipment and technology. This year, the All Heart Campaign received $1.8 million in gifts and pledges. Learn more.

Employee Giving Campaign

In 2022, more than 1,396 members of the Inspira family supported our non-profit health care organization, raising a total of $1,328,351. Of those employee donors, 621 participated during the 2022 “ALL in!” Employee Giving Campaign, which runs annually from the first week of October to Giving Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Learn more

Nykola and Alyce Kudla Nursing Education Scholarship Fund

Nick and Alyce Kudla were local educators who devoted more than 60 years to teaching, shaping minds and touching the lives of thousands of students in Millville. In 2022, Alyce established the Kudla Nursing Education Scholarship Fund in honor of her late husband Nick as a way to continue providing education and impacting the lives of others. Scholarships are awarded annually to an Inspira Health registered nurse who is currently enrolled in an education program that expands their clinical skillset.

The first recipient of the scholarship was Roseanne Racano, case manager in Inspira Health’s Care Coordination department. Racano is pursuing a doctorate of nursing practice from Wilmington University.

Paz Family Pavilion

In October 2022, the Inspira Health Foundation honored the generous contributions of the Paz family with the “Paz Family Pavilion” at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. Thank you to the Paz family for their generosity.

Signature Events

On May 16, 2022, the Golf Classic, held annually at Tavistock Country Club, exceeded expectations by raising more than $175,000. The following month, the Foundation welcomed back its Grand Gala at Water Works in Philadelphia, which raised more than $525,000. In early fall, the Golf Tournament at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club raised more than $250,000. And finally on October 22, to close out a year of outstanding events, the Foundation’s inaugural Pickleball Tournament at Total Turf Experience raised more than $18,000.
