PATIENTS

Our work is always focused on the health and safety of our patients. In 2022, some Inspira patients shared their stories of care at Inspira.

Kelli Silvers

Kelli Silvers faced two consecutive traumatic injuries that threatened to derail her daily life, her career and a hobby she loved. But she faced recovery with the help of Inspira’s orthopedic surgeons and physical therapy team. “Inspira got me back to work, got me back to my activities. They got me back to myself.”

Missy Cosgrove

In 2021, Missy Cosgrove received news that she had breast cancer. With her family, friends and the team at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill’s LeadingEdge Cancer Center by her side, Missy faced her diagnosis head-on and is in remission today.

Alysa

Alysa worked hard to manage recurring episodes of clinical depression for decades. She first came to Inspira for treatment in 2020, when she participated in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), followed by traditional outpatient therapy. Alysa believes that Inspira gives her everything she needs to thrive, including providers who work in collaboration with each other.

Todd Kinder had quit smoking before, but was never able to stick with it. That is, until he visited the Inspira Quit Center. His last cigarette was March 8, 2022. The program helped Todd quit for the longest period of time since he was 18 years old, with resources like nicotene replacement therapies and counseling and support sessions.

At age 37, Rachael Tiedman’s weight was starting to affect her daily life, mental health and relationships with loved ones. She knew she needed a change, so she contacted Dr. Keith Kreitz, director of bariatric surgery at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. Bariatric surgery gave Rachael a new lease on life: “I am so excited about life now. I look, and more important, feel, amazing.”

In the summer of 2016, Jessica Carroll gave birth to her son six weeks early and 150 miles away from her home. He was transferred to the Deborah F. Sager NICU at Inspira Medical Center Vineland. Not only did the NICU team take care of their son, they also taught Jessica and her husband, Brendan, so much about taking care of a newborn and themselves. Their son is now six years old and very healthy. “I am forever grateful for every person at Inspira, and all that the hospital did.”
