ack in 2015 when I was preparing for IOSH and NEBOSH Certification examinations, my instructor shared a case study in the class. It was about how a fire erupted in a certain commercial complex and caused deaths of around 67 people, injuries to numerous and damages to property.

The owners of the complex stated that it was merely an accident, but an in-depth investigation revealed that the fire was caused due to faulty electricity wires leading to a short circuit. The fire spread further coming in contact with flammable objects in the surrounding. The building did not have a safe fire escape route or a refuge area, and neither did it have fire detection or fire-fighting equipment. Thus concluding that the fire wasn’t merely an accident, but

After completing his high school studies in Abu Dhabi, Khalid studied for an industrial engineering degree in the US and Followed it up with a certificate in Fire Protection Technology.

With adequate expertise and appropriate education, Khalid started venturing into fire protection industry through NAFFCO.

NAFFCO DELIVERS 31 UNITS ARFF VEHICLES TO INDIAN AIRPORTS NAFFCO has delivered and commissioned 31 FALCON 6 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles to 30 airports across India in 2019. Mass production was accomplished within 6 months and each vehicle has passed through a stringent quality and performance parameter test in accordance with NFPA 414 at its world-class inhouse testing facility before delivery.

The arrival was celebrated with a traditional rollout ceremony and water salute at airports in conjunction with Airport Authority of India followed by a successful Site Acceptance Test, Commissioning and Training. With the execution of one of the world’s largest order of ARFF, NAFFCO is now among the top manufacturers of ARFF vehicles globally.
